If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

@Lovemusic33 I nearly always buy this paper planes kit for any boy between 5&8. I got it (35yo woman!) for Christmas and love it. The whole family has fun making and racing all the different planes.

livingthegoodlife · 03/11/2021 19:45

Thanks for the child's farm link. I've bought my goddaughter a set. Just need something to go with it now.

Redwinestillfine · 03/11/2021 19:52

@Scrambledbeans what about a big pack/ few sets of Geomag? Lots of fun and satisfying to build. There are many varieties of colours/ sets and they can go in the bath too

@Lovemusic33 any of the Aldi wooden toys would be fab for 18 month old, I have girls but both of mine loved the teaset.

Last year my youngest was 2.5 and she liked pizza pizza which is one of the orchard games.

How about dobble for the 5 year old? My 2 love it, I’ve even bought my 5 year old a frozen version this year so you can get different themes if they already have it.

Dancingonmoonlight · 03/11/2021 19:53

Puffalicious Thank you.

Thank you, I will pop to Aldi tomorrow.

I will look at dobble but I’m not sure if she likes card games, I should ask her mum really. The 7 year old might like some the crystal growing kit or the volcano from argos as he’s into science 🤔

sorryiasked · 03/11/2021 20:00

@Lovemusic33 does it need to be toys? M&S 2 pairs for £15 pjs are lovely

Bignanny30 · 03/11/2021 20:02

Well we play Pictionary air every Christmas as a family and love it. It has us rolling with laughter. Connect it up to your tv or at least a tablet rather than a mobile phone.

Carrie76 · 03/11/2021 20:11

@Scrambledbeans how about a diddy car my 6 yr old loves hers

Mrsfussypants1 · 03/11/2021 20:12

Not a bargain M&S christmas advert launches tomorrow. Spoiler, everybody's fav edible pig.

Mrsfussypants1 · 03/11/2021 20:13

Oh, if you head of to their instagram page and guess the voice behind Percy you could win £250 vouchers, ends midnight tonight.

RainbowPhilosophy · 03/11/2021 20:21

I'm going to order one myself if I can find time to put it together, but Snapfish are offering a free photo book with a code, you just pay postage. I've attached a screenshot of the offer and code.

@scrambledbeans I know you said max £100 but if you could stretch to £140 then I'd definitely recommend a gorilla gym. Our autistic daughter had one for her 6th xmas and it's still used daily now at almost 9. Definitely a wow present to open. We have ours in the lounge door way and she swings to self regulate. She also likes to climb the ladder and just sit at the top.

Allmyarseandpeggymartin · 03/11/2021 20:38

Thank you @Odette81 and @MissCherryCakeyBun - I’ve been all smug about finishing my shopping and now I’m panicking about where I’ve put everything.

Will download the app and unpack the garage Blush

Any wine lovers/looking for Christmas wine gifts I just signed up for laithwaites wine delivery service. £65 for 12 wines, a bottle of prosecco and 4 glasses. I'll cancel after its delivery. I'm hoping the wine is good!

Thisisbatshit · 03/11/2021 20:53

Zoom have 50% off toys and "merch" (?!!). I've not price compared as I didn't need anything but £8 for top gun monopoly about £5 for a downtime Abbey jigsaw, £18 for a barbie horse similar for a lego iron man and loads of bing, Peppa and pj masks. Price reduces in your basket.

zoom sale

Crapbags · 03/11/2021 20:55

Has anyone ordered from Ecologic Owl before? They have ‘blanket hoodies’ and they seem a good price but I’m wondering if it’s a case of too good to be true?!

Greenhand · 03/11/2021 21:08

DD (14) has asked for first make-up. Where do I start? She wants eyeliner mascara and "other stuff". Maybe a BB cream (I use them). What about eye colours?

FancyNan · 03/11/2021 21:21

TK maxx had a triple pack roll of vintage print Christmas wrapping paper for £6. Was v tempted but sensible dd reminded me that I had enough rolls at home to open my own shop.. Pfft where's the fun in that and why have I given birth to a sensible child?

EveLe · 03/11/2021 21:21

Rummikub down to £12 on amazon, seems like a really good price.

Daisychain789 · 03/11/2021 21:21

@Greenhand maybe for eyeshadow get a palette? Look out for boots Tuesday special deals.
I’d also recommend getting a decent make up remover. I remember my mum got me some basic (nice) skincare so just miceller water and a moisturiser I think when she brought me make up around that age

Greenhand · 03/11/2021 21:27

@Daisychain789 good call. I hadn’t thought about remover! She does have moisturiser already

FancyNan · 03/11/2021 21:29

@Crapbags I bought a beige blanket hoodie from next last year for dd. Very good quality and soft, I have to peel it off her to wash. I bought her the small ladies size so it grows with her, she's just under 5 foot.

Look at morphe, they had a 50% off sale on and not too bad prices
LyraSilvertongueBelacqua · 03/11/2021 21:33

Wow these have flown! I've been off with Covid and general life but hoping to get back in the swing of things!

I am considering a Rainbow High dollhouse for DD. I don't suppose anyone has one or knows of that might be a good idea?! She has lots of the dolls but doesn't often do a lot with them and thinking this might be good.
