Sorry I'm usually the first to recommend a yoto player but I don't think its right on this occasion. The general age range is up to about 10 so it doesn't have the longevity for a 9 year old, the MYO cards are less convenient than a player of some kind as you can select tracks as easily, and a yoto player plus MYO cards are going to set you back best part of £100.

Great deal on this, I've rarely seen it under £40 but £30 today! My olderdaughter had this from a toy library and absolutely adored it but I couldn't spend £45 on it 🙈

It’s a brilliant book. Short biographies of people from history and today, who’ve overcome adversity to achieve their dreams. It’s truly inspirational and I would highly recommend it.

I’ve bitten the bullet @ClaraTheImpossibleGirl and ordered from Olive and Sage, thank you for reminding me about them. We’re supposed to be moving house on Friday and the new house has an actual garden with grass and mature borders with bushes and trees (we just have a courtyard at the minute) so I’m hoping my girls will love the fairy houses as a joint present to pop around the new garden.

And Asda have subbed my scoville 5 piece set for the 3 saucepans set for £30. Not as bargainous but I’ll still keep them.

I agree, this is a lovely set! I bought it from WHSmith with the codes and I'm sure my nearly 4 year old ice cream loving son will love it!!
