Just remembered a great website someone reccomended here once called brickwatch. It tracks the price of lego, tells you the percentage difference between the usual price and its current price and even the price per brick. You can browse by themes (eg city or star wars) or search for specific sets. You can also set up price alerts with it.

It told me for example that this star wars set is 40% off look at all the detail!

Anyone with artistic kids recommend any alcohol markers? Not like the kids ones, more "proper" ones for adult artists? DD18 thinks they would be a good present for younger sibling.

@ElvisPresleyHadABaby DD had a box of alcohol markers from the works. Think it was £10/12. Very good quality, nice colours etc. She isn't madly in to drawing so I didn't want to go for the expensive branded ones but we were both happy with these.

Thank you @ClaraLane the Yorkshire Lass is one I was thinking for MIL, who is from Yorkshire but now lives in a neighbouring county and has said she wishes she went back over the border to give birth so kids were Yorkshire too.

Welcome @PaddingtonPaddington. I think we all stumbled across that little bargain together. Just noticed there is now only one left in stock, so I think we've cleared them out Grin and the offer ends today. (actually just checked again, before I posted this, and the offer is now gone)

Thank you for the towels. Great little gifts. My DD is also struggling in this heat so she’ll be getting a couple to help her cool down (& hopefully be a bit less grumpy!)

@Tigger83
This shop on Etsy has lovely superhero capes and masks so he can be anyone he likes.
HERE

We are getting dgd (4) a mask and wristbands as she loves bouncing into the kitchen announcing “ Superherogirl is here!” Whilst wearing a home made mask that she made from a piece of bike helmet lining.

I'm now thinking of putting together gym hampers for sports relatives. So the towels plus water bottle, protein bars, weight lifting gloves. Any other ideas welcome!

It depends on your budget. I bought DH some lovely Copic markers last year but they're really pricey!

I bought everblend from Arteza. We haven't tried them yet as they are for Christmas but they still have some big discounted boxes
