Tinysnickers magnatiles or any magnetic construction toys were very popular with my ds's at that age. Also fidget toys are very popular at the moment.

tinysnickers arts and crafts? Scratch art, blow pens are popular with my dd.
My dd is 9 and fidget toys are super popular right now at her school - so maybe a bumper box of those? I think the works had a box set?
Does he have any hobbies? Maybe new swim bag and character/personalised towel?
Does he support a football team? Maybe a football top or merchandise related to the team?
Books? My dds loved dogman, captain underpants, storey tree house series, horrid henry at that age. Or phoenix comics books (maybe a subscription if you can run to that?) And beano was popular.
A selection of baking kits with a mixing bowl/spoon? I think baked in had an offer mentioned on the last thread.

@Tinysnickers one of the most loved presents from last year for primary age was a robot football game from B&M. It looks like this:

Any ideas (and deals) for a nearly teen boy who loves manga? I have no idea what any of it is about and what's appropriate for DS

Thanks for suggestions so far.
He has an older brother so they already have loads of stuff in the house. Tons of construction stuff, magnetic things, marble run, gravtrax (fancy marble run?), crafty stuff, science kits, coding robot, nerf guns galore, insane amounts of lego...
He has one hobby but doesn't need anything for it. Not into football. Not really a reader yet.

I've never heard of a roboalive snake, or the musical cubes, will have a look at those.
I'm tempted by a fidget toy, he'd like it but I don't think he'd necessarily want a boxful.

Anybody buying football kits this year and not wanting to pay the full whack I can vouch for

footballsbest4u.com

They are great quality and wash well. My kids have about a dozen kits between them and I wouldn't pay over the odds now tbh

Kids kits are £24 with free name and number added and if you pay by bank transfer you get an extra 5% off. Order early though as delivery can take a while
But definitely worth the wait

Bees Emporium have 3 books for £10 with free delivery. I've not really looked to see all the titles though.

@ElvisPresleyHadABaby I use Windsor Newton's Promarker range, they are very good, artists quality, alcohol markers, and are usually around £3 each if you shop around, or you can get sets in Hobbycraft/ The Range/ online shops like The Skipton Art Shop or GraphicsDirect which are occassionally on offer. I have promarkers that are over 15 years old and still going strong, as long as the caps are clicked on and the pens laid flat they last for a very long time- I have only ever used up a few markers that I used a lot for large areas of block colours. The Windsor Newton Marker paper is the best paper I've found for alcohol markers as well- using them on normal paper will cause the markers to be used up far quicker as the paper absorbs the ink, and the pens don't blend as well on normal paper.

Glad so many got the cooling towels offer, .I was just going to post the offer earlier but others were quicker to link.

On the theme of sports bundles, can anyone recommend a good sports drinking bottle that doesn’t leak. The favourite ones in our house are large blue and yellow lucozade bottles that were free when you bought a 4 pack if drinks. I have bought many others over the years but they all leak and the lucozade ones are now very old.

@LikeSilver, thank you for the Nobody’s Child outlet link. Dresses for £10 each in sizes up to 24, and cotton t shirts for £4!

Free postage over £75, free returns and 10% discount when you sign up to the mailing list. It said the discount was only on full price items, but it worked for me.
