The beach was amazing and the kids had such a good time! So much so, we're going back today!

It is absolutely stunning there, just beautiful.

DS lost his 4th tooth yesterday - literally, as it fell down the plug hole - so the tooth fairy has visited (she delivers money even if the tooth is no more, given DS' habit of swallowing / losing them!).

I lost a tooth down the plug hole once Fluffy. I was very concerned the tooth fairy would not come.

The beach looks lovely! We're going to London today. Still don't have a plan which I hate...

We've booked 3 nights in London for next summer holidays. By paying now, I've paid £145 for the hotel, which is fine.

Really grey here this morning. Very little enthusiasm for house work (I've hoovered downstairs and put a load of laundry on).
I might just end up knitting. 😂

Do you have a fairly modern Sky Box lachy? There's a button on the Sky Q box that calls to the remote and you should hear the ringer on the remote

Lovely beaches Fluffy you must've been realy lucky picking one of the possible 5-6 nice days ( I'm allowed to neg , I lived in Scotland for years . I was up recently , it pissed down constantly )

We have another scorchio day forecast today. The kids want to go back to the bloody beach today, but I can't face it! We shall see who wins that battle 🙈🤣

You can tell when people are really starting to think about Christmas, as this thread ends up a long way down the board after only a short time since the last post! I like it when it gets busier.

It's a lovely morning here too. I've just got back from the gym, dh is still in bed.

Yesterday, as we were walking in the 'burbs back to our car, there were crispy leaves on the ground... 🍂

Morning all. Grey and cool here today. That autumnal smell has started to appear in the breeze and I keep bursting into Christmas songs. Limited on what I can do until we move though.

Any word on potential dates yet, Most? Have your buyers been OK waiting?

It was foggy here, but that's cleared to leave a beautiful grey sky again 😒 not a breath of wind...definitely autumnal. The tree in the front lawn is already dropping its leaves.

Officially autumn starts 4 weeks today on 22nd September. We usually get another run of warm days once schools have started back but with cool and misty mornings.
