We stayed up watching Sherlock and now I'm wide awake. I'm unimpressed! 😂

At least we finally made it to thread 2...I doubt we will do as many this year!

Morning everyone. I am struggling to get up today Crazy. I have been awake for a while though.

I never get any urge to do gardening at all. I clearly have missed that gene 🤣

It's lovely and sunny here today, so the greenhouse should warm up nicely which will please the chillies and the tomatoes!

We have loads of flowers on our lemon trees. Hopefully we get lots of fruit too. I'm pretty sure they won't all bear fruit. If they do, I'll be palming lemons off on everyone! 😂😂

Woolly having a seating area in the garden is so nice I think.

why I'm very definitely not a gardener - I think I'm just excited at having a garden things may actually grow in and want to set it up while I have the enthusiasm so future years are easier 🤞🏼

I have a vague idea to add something like the pic to the side of one of the sheds when they're finally put up, possibly next spring because I don't want a greenhouse but want to try and grow stuff.

Why don't you think the lemon tree with provide any fruit Wee?

Today has been a long day. Ddog is very uncomfortable, there has been a lot of fidgeting and groaning then sleeping when I gave painkillers.
His groaning interrupted a meeting with my boss who told me to finish early to look after him - I took her up on that because he was being hard work.

Is everyone still fully in 'getting ready for summer' mode? I've been wanting Christmassy type music and films and treated myself to a little listen to the Christmas classics playlist on the classic FM app

Crazy, it's not that I think I'll get no lemons, it's that there must be 100 flowers. I can't see us getting that many lemons!

Love the coldframe , I have one of those talll 'greenhouse' thingies with a zip up plastic cover , it was really warm inside last week. Bit meh this week though. We moved it against the fence so it gets good sunlight .

Plan tomorrow to get the Costco shopping done ( everyone else in the household is working so I'll be schleping round - thankfully Costco trollleys are quite nice to push even full)

Then do washing/tidying and leave the lovely l-o-n-g weekend to do some frittering about in the garden.

Crap night's sleep, so I'm knackered today! 😴

It's a 3 day weekend. Whoop!

We have a 4x6 polycarbonate greenhouse as we got fed up of high winds taking the ones you have, 70. Coastal breezes aren't a good friend of such things!

Lovely sunny morning here again. The dc have started swimming at school again, ds loved it dd is mortified she has to wear a swimsuit with her ever growing boobs.

Food shop this morning then out for lunch with friends.

I don't think ours will go swimming with school until next year now.
