We stayed up watching Sherlock and now I'm wide awake. I'm unimpressed! 😂

At least we finally made it to thread 2...I doubt we will do as many this year!

243 morning! One child deposited at school for sports club and one about to leave. I've worked out and am ready for work. Another lovely sunny day 😎 work is really busy now so should go quick until half term. We've booked a hotel in London for just dh and I a few days before my birthday in June. Can't wait!

I've woken up with a sore throat (like swallowing razors) 🙄 And I'm so so tired today.
I'm also really frustrated with work - I've done loads of work on something and it now needs someone else to do something relatively small before it can be signed off and finished but people are playing pass the parcel with it and I'm losing patience 😡

Sainsbury's delivered today. There's no ideal time for it to come now I only have a 30 minute lunch break. It makes the morning quite chaotic!

The sun is just breaking through here now. I wish it would bloody rain at some point, however.

The hotel sounds good. I want to take the kids to London, but it's a total mission! Are hotels still reasonable, Wreck?

Yes prices are good until end of June then they go up again.

Crazy, not every day but most days 5/6 days a week usually. Plus an average of 12000 steps a day if I can.

We have inset days after the Whit break, so may look then.

We have rain on the day's weather icon. But the actual forecast shows it as less than 50%, so that's not going to bloody happen! 😭😭

I'm a lazy cow now I work from home; it's dreadful. My allotment helps keep me fit, but I do need to do more. I just need the motivation, but it's gone!

No rain yet. It's changed to above-50%, but bugger all yet. Sigh.

I've just done our monthly Farmfoods shop, so we have plenty of lollies in for the kids! Plus far too many sweets. But I was looking for a certain offer and didn't see them, so loaded up on Haribo instead. Then found them. Ah well! 🤣

It really wasn't enough rain last night as it barely added anything to the water butts. Sigh.

Wreck, yes, but only if they do dairy-free ice cream as we can't do dairy of that magnitude! And not sorbet, as that's just disappointing for kids! There's a little project for you. 😂

I've booked Prezzo on St Martin's for dinner, as it's not too far from Big Ben etc. And I know they'll eat it.

I'm too excited. Keeping my trap shut is going to be a mission!

Nope, sorry they're all sorbets 🙄 although there's a place called cookies and scream that looks good. Quite far north though. Or more central Prime Gelato apparently has the best vegan gelato ever.

Morning. I'll have to take note about the London stuff as I am (hopefully) going in November for my rebooked HP play Smile - and I'm going to combine it with some Christmas shopping I think 🤞🏻🎄

It's going to be a long day as ddog is in the vet having his tooth out which means GA. I'm worried about him and not used to being home without him so I feel all out of sorts.

It's been raining here since I woke up at 6:30 which is good be use I forgot to go and water the flowers yesterday.

Ddog is back from the vet, minus 6 teeth! He's feeling very sorry for himself - I have him curled on a fleece blanket on my lap while I cross stitch.

It is so cold here too, and it's been raining for most of the day. Heating is on 🥶

The blanket the dog is on was a bit musty as I hadn't used it in ages so I sprayed it with febreeze. Apparently the one I'm using is an Apple and spice winter edition one so I feel all festive now Xmas Smile

We seem to be missing a few posters lately.

Wee yes, soft food only from now on. He usually has biscuits and meat but he get mashed up, watered down meat for the next few days then we'll soak the biscuits so they're mushy.
Vet said he would likely be off his food tonight but to try and get him to eat- put some food down and he scoffed the lot 🙄

I'm joining 70 and Crazy on the "getting work done in the garden" bench. DH has decided he'd like something done with the dead corner (too much shade) so we are waiting on quotes for a patio/seating area. It's not a huge garden to start with but this bit has been stubbornly awkward from the start.
