We stayed up watching Sherlock and now I'm wide awake. I'm unimpressed! 😂

At least we finally made it to thread 2...I doubt we will do as many this year!

Morning.
It wasn't that windy here fluffy but we did get a massive hail storm at about half 9. It's still frozen on the lawn and the cars Shock

Morning!

We were forecast hail + 50mph wind at midnight. I chose to stay indoors asleep at that point! #exfoliation

I've been awake since 5. Lucky me.

Morning everyone. I have the weekend off and the sun is shining. What more could I ask for? My son cleaned the house yesterday so I didn't have to do it today bless him. He must be bored.

NerosFiddle · 27/03/2021 11:18

Marshmallow we go to CP a few times a year. But this will probably be the last time now that dc are at school. It's just far too dear in the holidays.

I'm hoping we get a few days in Liverpool this year.

It's still freezing but no snow today.

WreckTangled · 27/03/2021 11:57

It was sunny here but it's cloudy now. We went to the farm shop earlier, so many lovely things! I got the dc a sweet treat each and a sausage roll to share for lunch. Have just done a kettlebell workout and will drag them out for a walk later.

I've got a headache and left sided mid-lower back pain. Have ordered some dip sticks to check for uti.

NoWordForFluffy · 27/03/2021 12:38

I walked into town to do the pay day Farmfoods run and buy odds and sods using DH's Nectar card for the bonus points! I managed to get £2.70 worth, so that's OK.

I also went to M&S to get some chocolate hot cross buns (DD doesn't like dried fruit anymore; she used to) and some chilli and cheese ones for us! Plus peppers which Sainsbury's are struggling to get hold of, it seems. I had 25% off for using their shopping app. It does make you look like you're shoplifting though, as you don't even need to go to the till to pay! 🤣🤣

It's been lovely and sunny here, though clouding over now. I'm pretty sure the washing will be dry, however, as it's very blustery still.

I hope I don't wake early tomorrow, Puss. I need sleep!

Afternoon everyone. Looks like rain here and lots of bluster. Starting to turn over the garden to lay some grass. My DD has been ill since she got the vaccine, shivering, high temp and nausea. Hasn't eaten hardly anything today or yesterday. She has the fan on in her room atm, hope it improves for her soon. Seems to have taken it out of her and she never complains.

I would love to try it Neros lots of friends have gone and loved it. Do you see many families with teens there, not sure mine could hack all that activity. Is it really expensive? Grin Grin

Love taking a trip to the farm shop Wreck, hoping to go out for a walk later. Hope your pain goes quickly.

My DC don't like dried fruit in this house Fluffy must try the choc ones. Mustn't forget to buy the Easter eggs this week before they run out.

Wow will have to send my DS round for tips Why although he is helping DH with the digging in the garden atm so can't complain Grin

NoWordForFluffy · 27/03/2021 15:09

I've had the Easter eggs for a couple of months as we need dairy free ones, so I buy them from the manufacturer when they release them for sale.

I need to shower. I've been in Lego-sorting hell (3 more boxes to go!), but I need to be productive now. DH has cleaned the bathroom though, so that's something less for me to do.

OP posts:
MarshmallowManiac · 27/03/2021 15:19

Usually buy my dairy free daughter those but have special instructions this year to 'please don't buy them as they taste so yuk!' Grin Hate that job have to do it at school all the time.

NoWordForFluffy · 27/03/2021 16:36

The ones we get taste like real chocolate to me, especially the white chocolate ones! Maybe it's my taste buds. 😂😂

OP posts:
MarshmallowManiac · 27/03/2021 18:09

Grin Grin My taste buds are shot too. Which ones do you get Fluffy?

NoWordForFluffy · 27/03/2021 18:17

We get Moo Free ones. You can buy direct from their website and the bars of chocolate are way cheaper than the shops that way.

Taste buds, hearing, knees, shoulders...not much of me that's fully-functioning, I reckon! 😂😂

I just had a flurry of excitement reading Christmas posts on this board - @70isaLimitNotaTarget mentioned that the Christmas stuff was on the lakeland website.

Unfortunately it was a zombie thread and there isn't much Christmas stuff on the lakeland website Xmas Angry

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 27/03/2021 19:03

Was that the bags/boxes for Christmas Rocky Road lachy ?

I read that one and thought when did I get to HobbyCraft ?

Oh yes , about 5 years ago Xmas Blush

MarshmallowManiac · 27/03/2021 22:09

Will have to look them up thanks Fluffy. Omg same as me hearing, back, shoulders, neck, knees, body of an 85 year old. Grin Grin

Morning!

We're forecast shit weather today (wet and windy) so I'm not sure if I'll get much / any time at the allotment as it'll be akin to being in the washing machine! 🤣🤣

I do need to get some peas in the ground though, so I might have to go as soon as the weather improves.

I ache so much. And all over. It's no fun!

Morning everyone. Looks grey and overcast here today, just about to eat pancakes for breakfast. Would love to get some bits from garden centre today if possible. Back hurting last night and today. Sad

Yes!! Xmas Grin I love a zombie resurrection!
CrazyBaubles · 28/03/2021 14:44

Afternoon and thanks for the heads up about the zombie threads - I get caught up in them every now and again as I don't notice the dates Xmas Blush

I am hormonal & stropping at the mo. DH cooked a roast for us & PIL (they came, chatted at the door then took theirs home). After they'd gone he realised he got the dinners in a muddle so had roasties but no mash, no boiled carrot and no green beans which I like but things I don't eat (broccoli and roasted carrot).
He's very apologetic but that doesn't get me the dinner I was looking forward to does it? 😩

It's also grey and raining her so it's all very miserable.

I'm going to mop then retire upstairs to cross stitch in peace soon I think.

PussyCatEatingEasterEggs · 28/03/2021 15:00

Evening...been awake since 5 (in old money so 6 i guess)
Have painted the kitchen ceiling and done the cutting in ready to paint the walls tomorrow...spent most of the morning chasing an inquisitive pain in the bum Tilly, who wants to get paint in her fur. 🤦🏻‍♀️😹
Need to go to B&Q again as I've broken the crappy plug for my belfast sink and I need a new roller handle.
Pity they don't do trade ins/part ex for DHs...😇
Crazy can I reserve a plot under your patio...if there's any space after you've fitted your DH and his dinner in?
fluffy swap ya! I'd get carried away with the lego - your DCs wouldn't get a look in 😂

WreckTangled · 28/03/2021 15:02

Oh no crazy I would be disappointed too! I remember when I had just had ds and we were in McDonald's (ds was in special care still and dd had both legs in casts so we were going to her physio appointment) and he forgot to order my mozzarella sticks. He wouldn't go back and order them either, I just wanted to cry. Still haven't forgiven him.

I think I do have a kidney infection, need to speak to gp tomorrow as dip is mainly positive.

Dd is at a friends today (I know rule of six is starting tomorrow but I'm not getting worked up over it) there's four of them there in a big tree house so they're not indoors as such. We took ds for a long walk/bike and had ice cream and doughnuts. I'm doing roast chicken for dinner. Dh is in bed with a headache...

NoWordForFluffy · 28/03/2021 15:21

I've cleaned the kitchen etc and dusted the front room and dining room (it must've been a while in the front room, the picture frames / rail above the radiator were grim! 😂🙈). I've been happily watching the bedding on the line get blown about. I'm pretty sure it'll be dry soon. 😁 We had a 5 hour dry spell forecast, so were ready to go with the washing as soon as it started to clear.

I haven't made it to the allotment. I'll have to go on Friday, I think.

I've also sorted my cries stitch stuff into a new storage box, as well as printed two bought patterns off to put in my 'to do' pile in the box (which has about 3-4 years of projects in it, if not more!).

It's lovely having it all together.

Oh, I made muffins too. We had bananas to convert, so I did those before cleaning.

I have a headache too, Wreck. Might take something for it soon maybe a beer!.
