We stayed up watching Sherlock and now I'm wide awake. I'm unimpressed! 😂

At least we finally made it to thread 2...I doubt we will do as many this year!

Hopefully your GP will prescribe after speaking with you, Wreck, as you've already done the dip.

Thanks for the sympathy for my strop. He's mostly fixed it by presenting me with a Lindt bunny he got me for Easter 😂

puss at a guess Id say I'll have room for 6 husbands under the patio. 2 spaces reserved (for my DH and dsis's OH) but I'm happy to save you a space! Would suggest getting him to do all the decorating jobs you don't like done first though...

Kidney infection sounds painful Wreck. I've never had one but my dad did years ago and it's one of the only times he ever admitted to needing to see a dr.

Fluffy you've been busy!
In my annoyance earlier I ended up cleaning all the annoying bits of the shower with a toothbrush 😂

NoWordForFluffy · 28/03/2021 17:10

Rage-cleaning! 🤣🤣🤣 That's hilarious.

If you dig deeper you can double-stack more husbands under the patio. #justsayin

I still have two boxes of Lego to sort. But also want to do cross stitch. Choices, choices. Puss, you're welcome to swap places if you're willing to sort the bloody stuff. 😂😂

We have had a couple of quotes for garden work, one bloke sugggested we have the patio slabs cemented obviously to ensure they're too difficult to lift for DH Burying

I'm Xmas Hmm at this , I might need those slabs liftable in the not-too-distant-future

PussyCatEatingEasterEggs · 28/03/2021 20:31

Wreck hope you're feeling ok - plenty of fluids, inc DHs beer as he's not very well😉
fluffy I have many cries stitches Grin but you can't beat a big plastic box to store it all in (or 3 and a wardrobe) Blush
Crazy How much do I owe you for my booking? he's pissed me off so much today 🤬
We now have a white ceiling in the kitchen, a broken trickle vent and paint on the spot lights.
B&Q tomorrow.
70 if Crazy ends up fully booked - even with the double stacking suggested by fluffy (which is more than possible at the mo) can I bagsy a plot under your patio please?

fluffy re- the lego - you don't get it - my dad used to build all sorts when I'd gone to bed, it would take me hours next day to put it right but I loved it really Wink

Morning!

Terrible night's sleep here. Unusually for me I couldn't get to sleep. Then I also woke up early. 😴

The kids are still asleep though, which is good.

It's meant to be nice for a few days. Shame it's not next week when I'm off!

OP posts:
WreckTangled · 29/03/2021 08:12

I woke up really tired. It's the clock change, had to wake both dc too.

Yes it's going to be 20° here, then snow forecast next week (very unlikely but will be wet and cold). So typical.

NerosFiddle · 29/03/2021 09:31

Morning.

It hasn't stopped raining since yesterday morning. If it keeps up we're going to be flooded.

I got 9 hours sleep last night. I must have needed it. But it meant I missed LoD.

NoWordForFluffy · 29/03/2021 09:45

You woke your kids, Wreck? We let ours sleep in the holidays! If they want to, that is.

Your weather is grim, Neros, is it set to improve?

OP posts:
WreckTangled · 29/03/2021 10:54

It's not the Easter holidays here! They break up on Thursday.

CrazyBaubles · 29/03/2021 13:46

Afternoon. It's grey and miserable here and will stay that way for a few days I think.

Rage cleaning is a thing in my family Fluffy - me and my dad are the worst for it but dsis does it too 😂

70 I think the bloke who suggested cementing in slabs has had patio threats from his wife 🤔

puss I will give you a patio space in return for some rum 🍹

It's Easter holidays here so DH stayed in bed until 10.
Wreck it must be hard for your dc to keep their routine with the clock change.

Neros You missed LoD 😱 I'm really enjoying this series - not sure if it's because it's good or because I've been starved of great tv but still - you need to get yourself all caught up!

NoWordForFluffy · 29/03/2021 13:49

That explains it, Wreck! When do they go back after Easter?

It's gorgeous here today; lovely and sunny.

Neros, LoD was brilliant. I think I need a spreadsheet, however, to keep on top of details. 😂😂

WreckTangled · 29/03/2021 13:58

We go back on the 19th April. Can't wait for the time off plus the second week all the shops and restaurants etc will be open (for outdoor dining anyway).

TheWoollybacksWife · 29/03/2021 15:00

I'm just back from my vaccination. I'm taking it easy with last night's Midsomer Murders and my knitting.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 29/03/2021 18:29

Line of Duty is brilliant , I was a bit meh at last weeks episode but I watched it again just before Episode 2 . Lots coming in from the previous series to tie a few little loose ends in.

And .......And ... "Between the Lines" on BBC4 ( recorded for the weekend) abso-bally-lutely fabulous but probably very dated now .
I've been searching for this for ages .

NoWordForFluffy · 29/03/2021 18:38

Ours go back on the day of release into the wild, Wreck. Which is a bit annoying.

I hope you don't have any ill effects, Woolly!

70, I loved last night's episode. So many nods to the previous series. I was very happy!

OP posts:
NerosFiddle · 29/03/2021 19:09

I've caught up on LoD while ds was at school and I let dd watch beauty and the beast again.

Dh has started doing vaccines today. Apparently by the weekend we'll be starting over 40s.

TheWoollybacksWife · 29/03/2021 19:36

So far so good Fluffy

LoD was excellent. I hope they don't tie up all the loose ends as that might mean the very end.

70 we also watched Between the Lines (or Between the Sheets as we called it the first time round because of all the shagging). We watched the first episode and recorded the second for later this week. It's the final episode of Unforgotten tonight too.

Neros that's excellent progress. I took my vaxxer a little box of chocolates today - so your DH might get pressies. She was lucky I didn't sob on her - I felt so emotional.

lachy · 29/03/2021 19:41

I haven't caught up on LoD yet, DH and I are saving it until tomorrow.

(I have just binge watched S1 yesterday and today 😁)

Boots delivery turned up today, another 4 Christmas presents off the list and £81.00 worth of points sitting quietly waiting for me to spend!

WreckTangled · 30/03/2021 06:49

271 we've got a frost even though it's supposed to be 21° today. Snow forecast next week too Confused dd is getting her braces later today it's next door to an M&S food so will pop in for some treats

lachy · 30/03/2021 06:58

Good morning all Xmas Grin it's chilly here too @WreckTangled, and I think we've got a similar forecast for snow.

Hope the trip to the dentist goes well and DD is okay Flowers

NoWordForFluffy · 30/03/2021 07:01

We only have 16° forecast. I don't think we'll have a frost though!

I got 25% off in M&S food hall the other day when I used their app. I was quite happy! The chilli and cheese hot cross buns are amazing! 😋😋😋

Lachy, I struggle to find stuff I like on the Boots website. Is there a knack?!

OP posts:
WreckTangled · 30/03/2021 07:07

Oh that's good. I've only got a £5 off £40 spend although that's not hard in there...

NoWordForFluffy · 30/03/2021 07:13

I got those vouchers in the post. The 25% off was one of my Sparks offers.

OP posts:
WreckTangled · 30/03/2021 08:01

Oh I've only got the sparks ones nothing in the post. I don't shop there much though as I can't afford it.
