We stayed up watching Sherlock and now I'm wide awake. I'm unimpressed! 😂

At least we finally made it to thread 2...I doubt we will do as many this year!

We've just watched a programme about NI on BBC4. The one yesterday was around Armagh. DHs ears pricked up when they showed a church...he think's it's the one he got married in first time around 🤔 but admits he wasn't really paying attention at the time.

I was sulking yesterday as I had to unpick a load of my current cross stitch. I'd managed to repeat a line which had thrown the right third out 4 stitches. There's still a small mistake which I can't work out, but I can fudge round that. I'd prefer not to, but I'm not starting from scratch to work out where the mistake is!

I have my smear test this afternoon. Woooo! I get to finish work early and have a little lie down. What's not to like?! 😂😂

My nurse is like a ninja with smears. Barely had time to get comfortable and she was done

I'm actually going out today to see someone! (For work). Will be near the sea too, quite a drive away but that's not problem. Need fuel first.

I have a tilted cervix, so need to get into a funny position sometimes, taking a little longer!

Same here Fluffy apparently my cervix is tilted and they have to use a different speculum (a longer one I think) which means I have to lie in an uncomfortable position and it can take a while. Luckily work allow up to 4 hours off for a smear so I usually take the afternoon off to eat cake and recover

How annoying about your cross stitch! I wouldn't unpick it all either.
I noticed a mistake on mine yesterday and spent ages working out the mistake, just to find that I'd done 2 white stitches where they should have been pale blue. I'm leaving it though, no one will know except me...

DH is at work then going for a hike so I'll have the house to myself until around 7pm. Going to finish work at 4 and have a nice evening of cross stitch and tv I think (until he comes home and ruins the peace anyway)!

Boots was that the Barr's Best railway documentary? He had one on BBC ni about Derry so I watched that.

I have to go to the hospital and get my smear. It was no bother before I had dc but my body is now too messed up.

Nero yes it was. It was really interesting.

Fluffy & Crazy I wouldn't unpick for 2 stitches unless it was really obvious like missing out the cricket ball of a cricketing scene 🤦🏻‍♀️😳 but a whole row is less easy to hide/disguise.
I get more irritated if I stab myself though.🩹☝🏻

I once left my stitch unpicker on the sofa and when I sat down it jabbed into my foot about 1cm and was dangling down. I swore.

It would have been worse if it had punctured your arse to be fair 😂

Argh about the stitching fluffy. I have temporarily abandoned my London stitch as I did one incorrect stitch but I didn't realise for ages and it was a crucial stitch which has messed up a lot of the remaining bit :(

Went to the hospital yesterday as my wrist wasn't getting any better after my fall last week and now I have a splint.

On the plus side I have made cake 🎂

Afternoon everyone. Grey and wet here, even the dog doesn't seem to want to go out. Had my smear last week can't say it's my favourite pastime.

Just realised the bin men put our bins away for us this morning, not just ours either not that I'm complaining, our bin men are brilliant.

That's work finished for another week, two more until the Easter holidays. Red Nose Day tomorrow so the dc have to wear something red.

We've had so much packaging since ever moved that I've made friends with our binmen Wreck but they wouldn't think about putting our bins away!

I'm entertaining myself at the mo by watching the people who live opposite. They have 2 cars and a driveway for 1 car. They park one on the street between mine and next doors driveway.
Today they have been periodically swapping which car is on the drive and which is on the road, for no apparent reason - I think they're having some kind of argument about it as I heard the husband say "FFS, not again" as wife got in his car to move it

I've just hung the washing out, and opened the greenhouse door so bugs can get in. We have a few flowers appearing on one of the lemon trees, so pollinators need to get in!

The kids are in mufti for RND and both have noses as well.

The smear test was fine. She was nice to chat to as well. 😁

I agree about Jaffa cakes - orange only!

Bugs are something that put me off gardening a little Fluffy, I really dislike all of them except bees. Still planning on giving it a go though!

Can I ask about your lemon tree - did you buy the tree or grow it? I want one so am considering buying one now and keeping it in the conservatory.

We bought it. It was BOGOF, so we have two. Good job really as the second one isn't as keen to flower / bear fruit as the first. It would've been disappointing to get only the crap one! 😂

Called at B&Q for some brushes and a tin of paint for the bench and as we got back to the car DH got pooed on by a passing seagull 😂 I offered him a tissue, but he said it would be miles away by then.

I did! After ranting to the guy at the c&c that I bet they'd be available like always. But they weren't

It's grey and drizzly but warm here so I've set up both airers in the conservatory which DH will most definitely moan about

Last hour of work now too. Looking forward to logging off and seeing what meals we'll be having next week as DH is doing the food shopping on his way home from work...
