We stayed up watching Sherlock and now I'm wide awake. I'm unimpressed! 😂

😂😂😂 I did find my postnatal records and paper driving licence but they're not very helpful in this situation! Anyway I submitted my internal application today so fingers crossed.

Morning!

The wind seems to have dropped a bit overnight, thankfully. Though it is meant to be wet today.

I'm on day 2 of another headache, but this one is in a different place to the last one. I think it's hayfever, so need to take antihistamines every day now until autumn! It gets worse every year.

I have Monday off to help DH wallpaper as it transpires he wants some assistance having only done it once before. Which is once more than me, but I'm aware of the concept! 😂

Morning. Had a rubbish nights sleep - lots of fidgeting and woke up a few times shivering. Was woken for the day by having a nosebleed so I'm fully expecting today to be a bit rubbish.

I started back on antihistamines last week Fluffy after we had a few days of windy sunshine and I looked like I'd been crying 🙄

It is grey and absolutely hammering down right now. Apart from walking the dog I'm not going outside today.

Oh no crazy! Hope you start to feel better soon. I'm not sure, closing date isn't until the end of the month, it's only an internal application and I have funding agreed so should be ok. Also I applied under the guaranteed interview scheme.

Afternoon everyone. Had a terrible night's sleep was taking a tablet at 3am but it did nothing. Was so tired when it was time to get up. Bit nicer day today, not quite as much bluster, and a little warmer, hoping Spring is on the way.

Decided to finish work a little earlier than normal today and spend a little time crocheting.

DH decided to bake banana loaf with DD...and then asked if I wanted to "help".

No. No I don't. They can make as much mess as they like, and then clean it up. I will sit in the peace and quiet and will only venture into the hell hole kitchen once they've done.

Well, I'm busy harming my blood pressure by arguing with middle aged men about sexual harassment and assault against women.

Yep. Plus two gems: the only sexual harassment and assaults which happen are those which are reported and are included within ONS figures and the only men who commit sexual crimes are those who are in prison (i.e. 1% of men).

I wonder how many of us could say we haven't been harassed or assaulted? I have - walking home from the pub with my friend. We were followed by three young men who started off catcalling us then began taking their clothes off as they followed us. We had to make a run for it which wasn't too easy as I was 6 months pregnant. I don't think they were too blessed in the brain cell department though as they couldn't chase us with their trousers round their ankles. This was 9ish on a sunny summer's evening so nowhere near dark. I don't imagine things have improved in the 23 years since. I worry for my daughters.

I've too many experiences to list, sadly. Didn't report any of them so clearly they didn't happen.

Busy day today. I want to make a low carb banana bread and do some exercise before dropping the dc to my parents so I can go and get my second vaccine. Need to pop into Sainsbury's (again) to get step mum flowers and card for tomorrow. Also have washing coming out of my ears as always. Dh is working. Can't wait to see my parents!

I'm going to walk into town after breakfast as I want some bits from Farmfoods. Plus maybe a couple of things from Sainsbury's. It's about a 5 mile round trip so means I escape the house for ages decent exercise.

We did a dark wash last night to go out tonight. The forecast has changed enough that there's a window of opportunity for drying. Especially with the winds we've got.

I'm making brownies today as the kids love them (without nuts!).

I need to get my mincemeat ingredients soon. But I want to get to £200 in Nectar points before spending some if possible! I have a tenner to go, so I doubt it'll happen. 😂

I mean to go out today with the washing. Not tonight! 🙈😂

My boss, who I'd worked with for 14yrs, on finding out I was engaged to DH asked if I'd be interested in having a shag? 😱😱😱

I don't recall anything awful but maybe it was normalised? I do remember my driving instructor (older man) asking me if my eye lashes were real because they're really beautiful (true btw ) and when we went on holiday last I was standing in the aisle of the plane and a man wanted to get past, instead of just speaking he put his hand on my waist as he said excuse me and kind of lightly moved me out of the way which made me a bit worse happened when I was a teen but that was how it was (wrongly, obviously).

Wreck Creepy Kevin once did that to my colleague - his hands on her waist/hips as he squeezed past. She went very red at the time and said later she thought he was sporting a semi 😱

Oh no that's awful! At the time I was just a bit but the more I thought about it the more cross I got. How dare he touch me, a complete stranger, on my waist of all places! Not even a tap on the shoulder.
