Before I nod off in a food / booze coma, here is our new thread!

We've had a lovely, chilled, day building Lego. I should probably eat more cheese to really finish the day in style though. 🧀🧀🧀

Wreck, I've tried that. It just ends up a bit stinky and still mahoosive 70s disco style.

I think I might have to give DH some scissors at some point...

Or some sheep shears.

I have quite long hair stockings and I use a hair mask treatment when my hair is a bit wild and woolly. I use conditioner generally though.

Panthene conditioner seems to work for me.

Also like Bodyshop conditioner, the banana one.

Maybe I just need to use more conditioner - more frequently - and have some patience...
why what brand hair mask do you use? Mine is fairly straight, but gets a few "waves" as it gets longer iyswim. I tend to only wash it every other day as it now gets dry when it used to go greasy.

Dd and I have to wash ours every day without conditioner. Really greasy otherwise!

Wreck, if I did that I wouldn't get a comb thru it - although as a teen I needed to wash it every day and didn't use conditioner - I think it gets less greasy as you get older (the one tiny positive? of meno)

We're watching pointless and I may have just shouted "SHARK" at DH. Poor love, he jumped off the sofa!

I'm currently too awake to be asleep but too sleepy to want to be awake. I've not managed to nod off again though.

There are loud birds outside (windows open)...I've no hope of getting back to sleep. Sigh!

I'm a traditionalist fluffy. I had sugar and lemon. I still have loads of batter though so will make some cheese and ham for dinner.

I'm working all week but have been starting later and later as I'm struggling to sleep then struggling to get up.
I also somehow got in a muddle this morning and ended up filling a cup with sugar instead of the sugar jar 🙄 I'm blaming that on being tired!

No pancakes for me but made them for the dc for lunch. They wanted American ones which is fine. I'm sure they'll persuade dh to make some more after dinner.

I made pancakes (first time ever at age 44!) and they were demolished! Except by DD who's being a misery today. DS was happy though.

Crazy, at least it wasn't filling the sugar bowl with salt; it could've been worse! And I know what you mean re tiredness. I can tell I'm better now as I'm getting much less sleep and can get out of bed in the morning without need for a winch. 😂😂

311 I've been awake since 2:15. Have just watched the last episode of firefly lane, might sort the dc's clothes out today and get rid of all the things that don't fit them anymore.

We had American pancakes with syrup for breakfast yesterday and normal ones with lemon and sugar in the evening :)

Well I woke because my sugar level was a bit high then I couldn't get back to sleep. Feeling a bit stressed DH has pissed me off (again) we appear to be on very different pages and I'm not sure what to do about it.

I'm boiling this morning, going to have a shower in the hope that makes me feel more alive.

Are you on different pages about anything specific Wreck or just generally focusing on different things?

DH and I had a very boring conversation yesterday about hanging photos / prints etc to around the house and somehow ended up arguing 🙄
He's also dead against framing and hanging any cross stitches anywhere because he thinks that it's old fashioned 😡

Gosh lots of bad sleeping last night :(

DS has always been a bad sleeper fluffy unfortunately although he is getting better with age.

DS used to be terrible. Since 4 he's steadily improved, thank god.

Ooh I am raging for you crazy! I have cross stitches up, DH wouldn't dare say anything negative.

I am also 😡 about it, but also a little bit hurt - so much work goes into them!
I don't think it helps that the only one he thinks is nice is the one I'm working on now - the Christmas one and he definitely doesn't want that up.
