We've had a lovely, chilled, day building Lego. I should probably eat more cheese to really finish the day in style though. 🧀🧀🧀

We've only just woken up!

The bedroom is 15.8° after 2 hours of heating. Though we don't have the radiator up high in here. I may not be able to type in this temp though!

How are you feeling today, Why? Everything varies so much, place to place. It's bonkers really.

We've said no home schooling today, Wreck. Our kids went for it!

-32 Fluffy and -27 Wreck? Not sure I could cope with that and I love the cold.

Coldest I've ever been was in NY too. We did NYE in Central Park a few years ago and it went down to -14.
I quite like getting down to -5 ish (Prague and Iceland were those temps and was nice to walk around in). NY took my breath away.

I know things are different in Wales why but when my ankle was bad last year I had to do phone appointments. I don't think it has changed here.

I'm tired and congested today, randomly. Should have a relatively straight forward day though 🤞🏼

Crazy, the NY cold felt colder than the Denver cold as they have a damp cold like we do. You'd be fine in Denver!

Iceland was pretty damn cold the second time we went. I can't remember the temp though!

I've been MIA a while - the death of my Dad ,all the organisation that goes after . Thankfully Mum and Dad had pre-paid funeral plans which took a huge amount of stress from us . Though we ad a Covid funeral which was limited to 20 and no chance of a post funeral wake .

Then cleared parents house (Mum in Res Care) and drove home yesterday .

Loads of snow since Monday , looked very festive but we weren't in festive frames of mind .

I've been reading MN on my mobile from time-to-time but wasn't logged in.

I've been converted to buying Magic Bags via Too Good to Go. We got a huge pile from Morrison's today (£3.09). And two good bags from Sainsbury’s in Dobbies (£3.99 each) this week as well. The Spar ones were shit, so I won't bother again!

PS, WTF do I do with Sharon fruit?! 😂

Oh excellent! It would cost more in fuel for me to get to Morrison's unfortunately, good haul though. No idea about the Sharon fruit!

Sharon fruit taste amazing Fluffy. I had some in a fruit salad. Not entirely sure what else you can do with them.

I've found a cake recipe which uses two fruit, which is what we have. So that's one job for tomorrow! 😋

I did tell DH when it was Dusty Bin Day (321 on countdown) he did a sort of s-l-o-w backing way throwing a KitKat on the floor to distract me

Been using the contents of the freezer , whatever the DC left . I did a Sainsbury shop before we left , cooked some macaroni cheese (to freeze for DD and some fpr us to take up) , an online order for them and a Dominoes delivery .
The cats didn't miss us (they got fed, litter changed and door unlocked so no change for them)

I am very suspicious of tropical fruits like mango, melon, starfruit, ugli fruit , kiwi , figs, and probably Sharon Fruit if I ever tried one,
I have it in my head they're tring to poison me fresh pineapple brings me out in mouth ulcers

You'd have hated this bag, 70, as there are two mangoes, a pack of melon slices and a tub of pineapple pieces! 🙈😂

Also 4 avocados, which isn't something we eat.

Did anybody try to do the 3-2-1 fingers thing on Sunday? I have never really mastered it!
