Thanks @GoblinDaughter for the title

It’s nearly December, Father Christmas is busy putting the final touches to his toys on the workshop and we are busy elves preparing for a somewhat different Christmas this year.

please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.

@HollyGennero were the M&S biscuits £4? Was it a food only shop or with the clothes too. Wondering if it's worth me popping back to the shop near me (clothes) or drive to the food only M&S. They were £6 in the clothes and food shop on Thursday.

Christmascaker · 13/12/2020 18:02

@Lockdownlumpy what about a stomp rocket?
amazon

CatsLikeBoxes · 13/12/2020 18:11

Has anyone ordered from Hobbycraft, and if so, how long did it take to arrive? I've been opening all my deliveries and wrapping this afternoon, and have realised I haven't received my Hobbycraft order from November 26. I haven't even had a dispatch email yet

EvilHerbivore · 13/12/2020 18:15

For those looking for an older or tea related present what about this tea/biscuit/cake hamper from Ringtons?
It's £20 but £2 off with NHS10

here

Totallylostnow · 13/12/2020 18:16

Not sure if it’s been mentioned but BLOKUS is £15 onAmazon, cheapest I’ve seen It I paid £25 a couple of weeks ago and bought 2!

HollyGennero · 13/12/2020 18:19

@chocolatepudandchocolatesauce They were £4 and it was a food only M&S (White City in Manchester) I was in the very M&S the original poster who found them mentioned in Didsbury (which is also food only) on Wednesday and decided against getting them as they were £6 then too (and I needed five boxes) so I was very pleased to see on here they were further reduced!

LyraSilvertongueBelacqua · 13/12/2020 18:22

@CatsLikeBoxes my order arrived on Friday after ordering 21/11!

caffeineanddryshampoo · 13/12/2020 18:31

I need a child's flannel/wash cloth for a 5 year old and a novelty sponge for an 11 year old. Can't fine one anywhere! Don't want Paw Patrol etc.

EwDavid · 13/12/2020 18:33

Can anyone recommend somewhere to buy nice crumbly fudge online? I hate fudge but DH loves the crumbly stuff and they all sound the same to me!

princessbear80 · 13/12/2020 18:37

Does anyone know what the best route is to follow up a John Lewis order that was supposedly delivered by Royal Mail while I was out, and wasn’t there when I got home. Thanks

I highly recommend Calico Cottage. You can buy your own fudge making kits. I've done a few of these in the past, and they are gorgeous!

Scout2016 - thank you for the Works recommendation for colouring book

And SpamIAm thank you for Logo game advice

Off to order both now

TheCrow · 13/12/2020 18:46

@Gettingthereslowly1 what is your DD into? Waterstones has a good range of adult colouring books in pretty much every theme- Harry potter, doctor who etc as well as generic ones like mandalas

Gettingthereslowly1 · 13/12/2020 18:48

Does anyone know which is the most recent Logo game on Amazon - I’m confused!!!

chocolatepudandchocolatesauce · 13/12/2020 18:49

@HollyGennero thankyou! They look lovely and giftable so really hope to get a few boxes! Shame I'm too far from both the known stores with cheaper biscuits.

I found the customer service number on the website, got through straight away, and they’re replacing the items which I’m going to pick up from my nearest store. I thought I’d have a battle on my hands but it was very easy.
CeeceeBloomingdale · 13/12/2020 19:01

@caffeineanddryshampoo Wilko's sell character face cloths and sponges, I'm not sure if that's what you're looking for, or is it just a child design that isn't a character?

Ordered mine 27th. Arrived yesterday. Got the despatch email on Friday

Longbarn5 · 13/12/2020 20:09

Princessbear80 I would give JL customer services a call. I had this with a Mokton Brown order last year and they sorted it all out for me and immediately sent me a replacement. I would expect JL to chase for you and or send a replacement
