Thanks @GoblinDaughter for the title

It’s nearly December, Father Christmas is busy putting the final touches to his toys on the workshop and we are busy elves preparing for a somewhat different Christmas this year.

please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

Mumto3thatsme it depends on price obviously, but in my experience if you are not happy with the warehouse item because it’s more bashed than expected and you complain they let you keep the item and refund you. Once it happened with a scalextric racing game that I had paid £80 for, no questions asked.

@Penguinbeaver

Xmas Shock i thought i was done. I was done. That was until my ds6 decided to tell me he wasn't writing his Father Christmas letter this year because he had already TELEPATHICALLY told him weeks ago that he wanted a drone. Please please someone recommend a decent but child friendly drone!
@penguinbeaver we bought our son one from smyths last year, if I remember rightly it was about £30?
Honeywort · 03/12/2020 07:03

I’m looking for a Lakeland code if anyone has one please.

Dolphintrainer · 03/12/2020 07:36

Good find @Bezzi I’ve snapped up 2 houses for a birthday in the spring

buckeejit · 03/12/2020 07:44

@niceredjumper I am! Good job for you 😁 Had one in my basket to pick up about 80 miles away & it disappeared! At least I don't have to do the trip.

Holding out hope for 9am.

Can anyone tell me why if I try to tag someone it doesn't work when I start typing the user name? I have to do the @ and then scroll to search for them. Most annoying as I have t enough brain cells to remember most usernames for more than 5 seconds!

TickleMyTitsTilFriday · 03/12/2020 07:55

Oh no I missed out on the ps5 by a hair 😭

buckeejit · 03/12/2020 08:10

I'm hoping they're releasing small amounts through the day 😬

BeGoneDom · 03/12/2020 08:12

I'm looking for some nice stationery for under a fiver, for an adult woman. Where's best? Also, does anyone know anywhere that does a photo on a notebook for that price?

Lovemusic33 · 03/12/2020 08:19

I seem to have bought myself the fairy houses for my garden, been looking at them for a while. Thank you Bezzi

PinkDaydreams · 03/12/2020 08:23

Iggi999 · 03/12/2020 08:49

Ilisten2thesoundofdrums · 03/12/2020 08:49

Adelais · 03/12/2020 09:25

runningpink · 03/12/2020 09:40

Can anyone please remind me where I can get the hot chocolate bombs which have been mentioned previously.

I think there are snowman ones at Aldi?
Did Home Bargains have some as well?

Braving those two ships this evening on a needs must basis. Damn masks making everything so bloody stressful

Givealittlebit · 03/12/2020 09:45

Not sure if it's helpful to anyone but save 30% on all products + 9% cash back for eufy on Quidco

deeplybaffled · 03/12/2020 09:55

WHY have I just bought two fairy houses???Grin

Doordye · 03/12/2020 09:57

@Flackattack

My Aldi velvetiser has been dispatched! I bought some M&S salted caramel hot chocolate flakes and we’ve used them all already! They were epic! I want the hotel Chocolat box but not willing to pay delivery does anyone have a code? Where else do people recommend hot chocolate flakes from? Grin
I’ve gone all out, I have pendragon flakes, I ordered Prestat from Brand Alley but I also went a little mad in Whittards at Cheshire oaks, 6 for £28 which is a big saving. I’ve only tasted the white chocolate so far but it tastes just like milky bar.
Haveyoubrushedyourteeth · 03/12/2020 10:01

@runningpink yes HB have them as well, check both the Christmas aisles and the hot chocolate normal food one too, because they seem to move around in ours.

I absolutely hear you regarding the masks, I didn't think I was a sweaty person but with one of those on I'm flipping roasting - So much so that I managed to faint at the supermarket check out last week!

LetsPlayBamboozled · 03/12/2020 10:19

Wasn't someone looking for Lego Friends Waterpark? That's on the Asda link posted previous page by Sorryiasked for £71.98 which is cheapest I've seen it.

runningpink · 03/12/2020 10:47

Thanks @Haveyoubrushedyourteeth that’s handy to know where to look in the shop.

I just get so anxious in them and panic. Also hate seeing people wear them which makes it worse!
I hope you are ok after fainting?

AtleastitsnotMonday · 03/12/2020 10:56

Can some one help me, a while back there was a link to a shop that sold gifts related to academia, for scientists, medics, etc any ideas? I need a gift for a mathmatician!

RugsEverywhere · 03/12/2020 11:04
