Thanks @GoblinDaughter for the title

It’s nearly December, Father Christmas is busy putting the final touches to his toys on the workshop and we are busy elves preparing for a somewhat different Christmas this year.

please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Here’s Barbarara’s instructions from last year on doing clicky links:

Name of link
No space
Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

@Puffalicious @TheSilentStars
You might both be sorted now but Lloyds Pharmacy have the Beurer electric blanket and electric water bottle massively reduced

I know people were talking about telestrations earlier in the thread, WH Smith's have it reduced to £17.99 from £29.99

If anyone goes into Wilko would you mind looking out for these for me? Our current set are coming to their end of cling life - although have been going for a few years so are a bargain! Ideally I'd like 5, so the children have a set each and for our door. Our wilko looked more like after Christmas today with virtually no decorations or anything to buy, and they are OOS online. Thank you Smile

Thanks pinkpanther some amazing bargains on that site. I was looking for an over blanket- heated throw- as we'll be sitting, but thanks for thinking of me.

Purpleheadgirl · 01/12/2020 11:48

TheGirlWhoLived · 01/12/2020 12:20

@buckeejit I got my our generation through about a month ago. It’s in a generic brown cardboard box BUT it does have pink “our generation” writing on the outside. Very big, very noticeable!

Hope I’ve caught you in time Smile

TheGirlWhoLived · 01/12/2020 12:20

Also if you buy something specifically from our generation from Smyths (I bought the classroom play set thing) then this comes in a branded cardboard box too rather than the generic Smyths box

PinkJam · 01/12/2020 12:31

GLTC have 20% off when you spend £50 or more with code: ADVENT

dancemom · 01/12/2020 12:46

buckeejit · 01/12/2020 13:08

@TheGirlWhoLived thank you! Will tell dh to keep his eagle eye out. Should've had it delivered to my parents!

shipperssss · 01/12/2020 13:11

Does anyone have any suggestions for a lovely Christmas coffee for DH's stocking? I am after ground for a French press.

Have looked at perky blenders and union, but just wondered if anyone had a recommendation. Generally strong dark roast is his go to. Thanks

shipperssss · 01/12/2020 13:12

Also any -cheap- suggestions for his stocking?

He has never had one before Hmm

SewVeryLazy · 01/12/2020 13:20

@Purpleheadgirl I have PMed you

thaegumathteth · 01/12/2020 13:35

I'd lost you all as the past few days have been a bit rubbish annoyingly.

Incidentally I ordered flowers through home bargains for my mum. They arrived and are lovely and really well packaged. 'Only' £24.99 which isn't bad really I don't think?

George22 · 01/12/2020 13:37

I bought dd a Sienna hoodie from Amazon and can imagine ds moaning come Christmas morning. Has anyone bought a charcoal one from Amazon?

Theonlyoneiknow · 01/12/2020 13:41

Has anyone spotted reasonably priced barbie clothes anywhere? I vaguely remember someone saying Poundland stocked them but I might have made that up! TIA :)
