Thanks @GoblinDaughter for the title

It’s nearly December, Father Christmas is busy putting the final touches to his toys on the workshop and we are busy elves preparing for a somewhat different Christmas this year.

please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.

I bought some lovely mug cookies from Hema
They are sold out online but they seem to have them in stock in a lot of their stores

Has anyone heard any more on the Molton Brown vouchers?

I emailed Molton Brown about the erroneous payments but not heard back yet... I also did tentatively try using the voucher again earlier but still didn’t seem to work Annoying as they currently have 25% which will be ending soon!
Avoca76 · 30/11/2020 21:31

My favourite deck is the Sacred Rose. Lovely colours.
mogtheexcellent · 30/11/2020 21:59

For those asking about hot chocolate. Just sitting here sipping my Pendragon hot chocolate. Yum. Works brilliantly in the milk frother I got last year. They also do really lovely choc bars and hot choc stirrers. Not a bargain as such but makes a lovely present.

TheCrow · 30/11/2020 22:00

For anyone disappointed with the Qwertee black Friday sale they've got a bigger selection of tees for £4 in their cyber Monday sale.

keeganface · 30/11/2020 22:23

I've made an order for Dorothy perkins. It's still processing. With the news today am I likely to receive it?

Still some good reductions on the Typo site. The stocking fillers I bought from here are lovely.

PostPopper · 30/11/2020 22:28

Thank you!

doublemix · 30/11/2020 22:30

@keeganface is saying on bbc news story that all orders will be honoured so fingers crossed you will be ok.

keeganface · 30/11/2020 22:37

Thank you! Will keep fingers crossed!

Rubyroo73 · 30/11/2020 22:43

Sorry a few pages back now as only just coming back to the thread but thanks to @TheLastStarfighter and to @buckeejit for fire pit links, think it was chimineas that seemed so expensive. Like the electric hot water bottle idea or maybe a heated throw?

Puffalicious · 30/11/2020 22:55

Late to the party re: heated throws but just had a thought that it would be good for when my sister visits my garage (2 metres, sitting on deckchairs with cosy throw at moment, but with both doors open for airflow the tea and cake doesn't warm you for long! Scotland so we can still have 'outside' visitors one at a time.). Any bargainous ones?

Delahot · 30/11/2020 23:07

Any ideas for my son who has to buy a secret Santa present for £5 for his friend who is 16/17. I’m stumped!

Puffalicious · 30/11/2020 23:13

Delahot funky/ funny/ irreverent socks. I bought great ones from Typo (along with a great notebook) for DS1's best mate who's 16. H&M also do great socks in men's department- hotdogs/turkeys/bananas (both my teen boys always love them).

Or a TV programme/film/ band poster?

Famousthehero · 30/11/2020 23:29

@Delahot how about a hacky sack? No idea if they're popular with youths though sorry, but there was always one on the go with my friends at that age (and for the next 10 years)

Doordye · 30/11/2020 23:37

@LikeSilver

I’m acting as personal shopper for my stepdad. He wants a “long silky scarf” for my mum. She’s 76. Any ideas? I don’t have a clue where to start for silky scarves!
They have some lovely silk scarves on National Trust
Flukz1988 · 30/11/2020 23:44
