Thanks to @friskybivalves for the title

I think we might actually make it to 25 threads!!

please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Here’s Barbarara’s instructions from last year on doing clicky links:

Open double square brackets
No space

Name of link
No space
Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

Can I ask, anyone who got the childs cuddle cushion from Dunelm - how big is it and would it work for an adult-sized child? I know I asked on a previous thread, and someone kindly answered but I think that was based on the size of the adult one rather than the child one IYSWIM.

Also - do Dunelm usually do something for Black Friday?

4Minions2CallMyOwn · 23/11/2020 16:41

Guinness Book go Records £7.99 on Amazon

Ds has just informed me he wants an Xbox series x from Santa Sad Please tell me they are sold out everywhere so I don't have to feel so bad about telling him no

PunkAssMoFo · 23/11/2020 16:43

Does anyone know if Argos or smiths will be doing anymore spend and save type offers. Don’t weather to just suck it up and pay full price for everything whilst in stock or risk waiting for savings.

Bezzi · 23/11/2020 16:43

I have finally caved and bought an Xbox one for the ds.
Was holding off for Black Friday but was so scared of it going out of stock I've plumped for it now on Very. It had £20 off so was £229.99 and then I opened a Very credit account and got £30 credit back with code QYYAE so I'll only end up paying £200.
I'll pay it all off at my first statement but it was buy now pay later so is interest free for 9 months if that makes it easier for anyone.

Now I'm after a bargain second wireless controller, has anyone seen one please? They seem so expensive everywhere!

IggyAce · 23/11/2020 16:50

These socks and polo shirts are LOVELY and seem to last well.

Amazonmulu · 23/11/2020 16:58

@LunchWithAGruffalo

Not ver festive, but some good deals to be had on robot vacuums over Black Friday. Just talked DH into treating ourselves to a eufy with £90 off.

Stil need to find a wallet for DH and a few fun bits for DS.

@LunchWithAGruffalo where did you order one from? I think I need one in my life (4 yo and 2 cats)!
Iwillneverbesatisfied · 23/11/2020 17:01

oooh those socks look ideal! thanks so much!

Amazonmulu · 23/11/2020 17:02

DH just announced he wants us (ie me) to get his brother a big lego technic set for Xmas. Where is the most barginous place for me to order from? I think it's one of the big motorbike ones he think would go down well. Any help appreciated!

TroubleInSnowland · 23/11/2020 17:03

Harry Potter kano wand coding kit is £39.96 on Amazon.

Rockhopper81 · 23/11/2020 17:10

Did I imagine someone asking about Christmas onesies for December 1st/Christmas Eve boxes? Noticed Sainsbury's have Christmas onesies when I was in-store today, including in the family matching sets, if it's helpful to anyone.

Changingagain · 23/11/2020 17:11

When I was after Duplo a couple of years ago, I found there was a bigger range on Amazon.de than the UK

Graphista · 23/11/2020 17:11

@nicky2512 I was going to reply that I keep trying, then I called Tesco (my usual one) and I've been able to get a slot booked and checked out. I'm still having trouble getting certain items which I'm trying to figure out.

@DillieDoily Sorry they were no good

This more the sort of thing?

I know this is pricey but to get an idea of what you're looking for

www.lilysilk.com/uk/elegant-elasticated-cuff-tie-belt-silk-dressing-gown.html

Attached pic I know is man's design but I've got men's stuff when I can't find what I'm looking for, usually cheaper too though maybe not in this case

I googled "elasticated cuff" dressing gown this time and it seemed to be along right lines

But they are much more expensive generally not sure why that is.

LunchWithAGruffalo · 23/11/2020 17:29

@Amazonmulu we've ordered direct from eufy. When I was looking yesterday the 30C was on offer and the same price at Amazon. Nearly ordered as that ends today but decided to sleep on it as we really liked the idea of the 15cmac with better suction.

Very happy to find today rather than being just over£30 more it's now just £4 more.

From my thread over in chat it looks like the boundary strips with the 30C are useful for some situations but not that many. Can't see us needing them here.

When I first started knitting I found the patterns in this book very easy to follow.

It also has this cover.

Bemystarlord · 23/11/2020 17:37

Some really good bargains on buildabear the christmas gingerbread people are £6 and reindeers £7. Lots of accessories reduced too.

TheLastStarfighter · 23/11/2020 17:37

(please ignore my question on the Dunelm cushion - looks like I left it too late and there are not available either in the dino style or the bigger ones. That will teach me not to wait for a bargain!)

TheCrow · 23/11/2020 17:42

I know I posted about the old style my little pony notebook from home bargains recently but I've just been back in and they have matching travel mugs for £2.99. They have both in pink or blue so getting both comes in at under a fiver and I think they'd be lovely gifts. The travel mug has a little slider on the top too so you can close the drinking hole and store it in your bag without it spilling everywhere.

For people talking about knitting/crochet gifts with the yarn deal home bargains had some good bits too - crochet hooks, knitting needles, stitch markers, stitch counters etc (I don't work for home bargains honest 😂)

@LunchWithAGruffalo - do you have a Eufy referral code? If so, pop it on the referral thread because I am shopping for one now Grin (although it still needs to be run past DH so can't guarantee that's the one we will be getting).

TheCrow · 23/11/2020 17:45

In non-home bargains news 😂 Lidl had these long slipper socks for £3.99. They're not reduced or anything but I thought they looked really nice for the money!
