Thanks to @friskybivalves for the title

I think we might actually make it to 25 threads!!

please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Here’s Barbarara’s instructions from last year on doing clicky links:

Open double square brackets
No space
Paste link
Space
Name of link
No space
Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

For those people wanting a nintendo switch, the nintendo online store is doing a free 64gb memory card. You can also ‘build your bundle’ and it’s valid for topcashback.
By the way, digital versions of the games and nintendo switch online are cheaper through CDKeys.

uniqlo · 23/11/2020 17:48

For those of you who are myLakeland members they have a 5 for £5 magazine subscription deal including Good Housekeeping, Red, Country Living, Women's Health.

JingleCatJingle · 23/11/2020 17:49

Nintendo are also doing 15% off lego mario and 20% off other gifts.

Chocolateteabag · 23/11/2020 17:56

@TheLastStarfighter - EUFY have 14% on top cashback too (I am getting myself one I have decided!)

Has anyone seen any good Black Friday deals on Mens Fleeces? My DDad wants one - but needs to not be the cheapest ones (like the Peter Storm ones on Millets/Blacks/Regatta) but the 15-25 type ones, in Red and XL - but Millets/Blacks/Regatta don't have the 'Right' (since when did he get so fussy - he goes nowhere and does nothing even before lockdown)

TheCrow · 23/11/2020 18:11

Thanks for the echo dot tip @muddlewitch I ordered one from Argos, not available to collect until the day after black Friday so if I can find it at an even bigger bargain I'll get that and cancel the Argos one. At least I know I'll definitely have one in time for Christmas though 🙂

PinkJam · 23/11/2020 18:15

Nuxe have 20% off when you spend £50

WH Smith have 10% off when spend £20 or more

Or 15% off when spend £40 or more with code NICEONE

CoffeeAndEnnui · 23/11/2020 18:17

Thanks to everyone posting Switch tips. Think we're going to whizz to the nearest town for a Tesco mooch. Doubt we stand a chance but need some food bits anyway so worth a shot...

danuta22 · 23/11/2020 18:17

Still looking for a watch winder for 2 watches, hopefully under £100. any recommendations?

Thanks

CoffeeAndEnnui · 23/11/2020 18:19

Sadly still not the epic clearance goodies of a year or two ago but Magpie have up to 90% off in their early Black Friday sale making a few of the boxed mugs/trinkets trays jolly good value.

uniqlo · 23/11/2020 18:25

20% off all full-price products at L'occitane

RunningKatie · 23/11/2020 18:30

@Bezzi

I have finally caved and bought an Xbox one for the ds. Was holding off for Black Friday but was so scared of it going out of stock I've plumped for it now on Very. It had £20 off so was £229.99 and then I opened a Very credit account and got £30 credit back with code QYYAE so I'll only end up paying £200. I'll pay it all off at my first statement but it was buy now pay later so is interest free for 9 months if that makes it easier for anyone.

Now I'm after a bargain second wireless controller, has anyone seen one please? They seem so expensive everywhere!

I'm looking for a controller too! I was hoping the xbobx would be less than £229 but that seems the current price everywhere. Not sure whether to hang on for black Friday just in case.
flumposie · 23/11/2020 18:31

Thanks for the 15% code for hotel chocolat. Thanks to the last 2 threads I now have a hamper , Aldi chocolate maker and now hot chocolate. Grin

MsMiaWallace · 23/11/2020 18:35

Anyone order the switch from Very when they were doing the 10% credit back?
@NoWordForFluffy did you order this if I remember right?
I've not had my credit back yet has anyone else?

Sunshineskies · 23/11/2020 18:38

@PetuniaPansy I haven’t read the full thread yet so not sure if you’ve found watercolour paints yet. But we have some from amazon. They’re reduced at the moment £7.99 from £12.99. They’re great with nice vibrant colours, dd uses them a lot and loves them. I can’t link sorry as I have the amazon app but they’re called Mozart watercolour paint essential set and there’s 24 paints. Hopefully you can find them.

Amazonmulu · 23/11/2020 18:39

[quote LunchWithAGruffalo]@Amazonmulu we've ordered direct from eufy. When I was looking yesterday the 30C was on offer and the same price at Amazon. Nearly ordered as that ends today but decided to sleep on it as we really liked the idea of the 15cmac with better suction.

Very happy to find today rather than being just over£30 more it's now just £4 more.

From my thread over in chat it looks like the boundary strips with the 30C are useful for some situations but not that many. Can't see us needing them here.

Thanks @LunchWithAGruffalo !

sorryiasked · 23/11/2020 18:39

@Annie1290 would this wreath from waitrose work? Only £25.
@Amazonmulu I'm sure Costco had a Lego technic set - was a tipper truck or something yellow!

sorryiasked · 23/11/2020 18:45

@Amazonmulu ah it was this r/c one so possibly over budget

NoWordForFluffy · 23/11/2020 18:45

@MsMiaWallace, it says by 26th, doesn't it? That's the next statement date, so hopefully it'll be applied at that point.

sorryiasked · 23/11/2020 18:48

magpie homewares sale

Elphaba17 · 23/11/2020 18:56

Thanks for the build a bear tip, just got an olaf that DS had wanted for £7.50.

LunchWithAGruffalo · 23/11/2020 18:57

@TheLastStarfighter I don't think there's a code needed, just the deal on the website itself.

fogginghell · 23/11/2020 19:04

Can I please continue to beg for Lakeland codes?Grin Blush I keep missing them then trying and they've been used ! Serves me right for having three young kids to feed and clean up after constantly

If anyone has any I'd really appreciate it if you can pm them to me as everyone on this thread is too fast for me Grin thank you ThanksCake

greyinganddecaying · 23/11/2020 19:04

@VividImagination

Nintendo Switch Fortnite Edition £229 in Tesco from tomorrow some Switches £229 in Tesco today seen on UKHD’s

Thanks for the tip - went straight to Tesco but didn't realise you needed to ask at customer services, by the time I did they'd just sold the last one Sad

Autumnwoman · 23/11/2020 19:10

I'd like to echo a PP's request for a decent but bargain Xbox One wireless controller. They seem to be almost £70 which is ludicrous. It's not for a serious gamer so basic is fine.

CoffeeAndEnnui · 23/11/2020 19:13

STILL haven't been to Tesco to check for a bargain Switch because our food shopping delivery is running insanely late. That's twice Asda have messed with my Switch buying ability, this is starting to feel personalHmm
