Thanks to @friskybivalves for the title

I think we might actually make it to 25 threads!!

please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

Thank you so much @Bezzi & @CoffeeAndEnnui
You're right is quite underrepresented. I'm delighted DD is straying away from princesses so happy to indulge my inner goth her new Hotel Transylvania interest. I'll have a look at those ideas now

For Sylvanian Families keep an eye on Amazon black Friday, I got a few bits last year in the sale. Hamleys have some decent discounts which stack with 10% off and free delivery

Dolphintrainer · 24/11/2020 21:49

So funny 😂 😂

Dolphintrainer · 24/11/2020 21:50

Sorry that was meant to be in reply to ......

The 'what do you think' has been added automatically making me sound over involved in your Christmas shopping hmm

😂😂

I bought a wildlife camera for the in-laws a couple of years ago- was the camo one which is on offer on amazon regularly at £44. Needs an sd card but does short videos and stills when motion activated. Fil wanted to know what was eating his broccoli (Peter rabbit obvs). To great as need to look at pics on camera or download the card. I have a webcam that can be viewed online (pets not weird stuff) and that pointed through a window is much easier than the outdoor camera.

Helenlovescats · 24/11/2020 22:05

@VividImagination thank you so much for that! I've just reordered the ones I wanted through Amazon - very grateful to you :)

dramalamma · 24/11/2020 22:07

What is the little fingers' fascination with the inside bits of tape dispensers!?! I have treated myself to no less than four over the years (including one about 10 days ago) and so I have even one little inside bit? No I don't! I have four useless heavy dispensers with no wheel to dispense! I've tried to replace the wheel but apparently it's "not cost effective" so I'm going to have to buy a whole new one (again!!) for Xmas wrapping and chain it to my desk .... and I suspect the little critters will still find it and take the wheel away! 😭😭

Papillon1 · 24/11/2020 22:09

Asda has some Sylvanian Family bits reduced in their toy sale.

AdamBarlowsQuiff · 24/11/2020 22:10

@oldgreyBoots Try Yankee Bundles for Bargain Yankee candle sets. I saw it on here last year and got lots of gifts. All were good quality except I would say some of the tea lights looked a little bit rough round the edges.

ArthurChristmas2 · 24/11/2020 22:20

@margaritasbythesea I feel your pain. I’ve got one of those two. ‘Helping’ me wrap at weekend. Flicked the centre across room and smashed into pieces 😡

Puffalicious · 24/11/2020 22:30

Coffeeandennui she'll love that ta-daa moment. Her surprise is what all the planning and bargain hunting is for. I'm more excited than my teens for sure and just as excited as my 8 year old! This thread oozes the Christmas spirit.

Lurleene · 24/11/2020 22:32

Thanks RaggieDolls for the Belkin earbuds recommendation. I have bought them from Carphone Warehouse for the same price as John Lewis but free delivery. I know John Lewis has a better guarantee but I am a bit tight Blush.

woodwaj · 24/11/2020 22:43

Does anyone know if prime membership will drop from 79? Id have presumed if they were going to they would have done it already. I've been removed from ex partners for a few short hours and im getting withdrawals 😅

Doordye · 24/11/2020 22:53

@JoeWicksSurvivor

BEER suggestion - Pinter fresh beer home brewing machine from

www.thegreatergood.co.uk

Costs £75 and is a recently launched product so would be a good surprise gift. Looks pretty funky and getting great reviews

@Doordye and @LionMummyRoar

Thank you I’ve ordered & added the monthly membership. DH will love this & the price per pint is so much cheaper than the Phillips
jingleballing · 24/11/2020 22:54

Anyone have a Seasalt code ??

SparklingLime · 24/11/2020 22:54

Don’t think you can go wrong with a Nike hoodie, @Tearsofthemushroom. This one, for example, comes in XS, is discounted, and you can also apply the SHINE2020 code for a further 25% off. If you become a Nike member you get free shipping (and can sign up to get 25% off in his birthday month):
www.nike.com/gb/t/sb-skate-hoodie-BRFbh0

H&M also tends to be slim cut.

RaggieDolls · 24/11/2020 22:56

@mrsdaz and @Lurleene. Fingers crossed they are good but I've never been disappointed with belkin before.

@Lurleene I solved the John Lewis delivery problem by ordering a pair for me too. I'm massively into my audio books at the moment so looking forward to using them with Audible.

RaggieDolls · 24/11/2020 22:57

That's a low blow from your ex @woodwaj. I pay for prime monthly at £7.99. Can you still do that so it's not £79 all at once?

jingleballing · 24/11/2020 23:02

It was me that reminded on the thread about the new Christmas Seasalt jute shoppers available to order now ! And then I forgot to order my own 😅

A poster just reminded me and thank God because one of the prints is already out of stock and being sent from a shop instead of the warehouse !

Anyway! A quick google search came up with :

WCM-0PP - code for free delivery for Seasalt.

I may have just ordered one each in all four prints Blush ( love a nice jute bag and none of the supermarkets seem to be doing them since covid struck ?!)

FizzyPink · 24/11/2020 23:02

@woodwaj you can choose to pay monthly. I had a year free with our broadband which expired recently so they charged me for next year in full. It was very easy to get a refund and pay monthly instead

SparklingLime · 24/11/2020 23:03

A couple more reduced and available in XS, @Tearsofthemushroom:

www.nike.com/gb/t/sportswear-fleece-crew-kptzW1

LionMummyRoar · 24/11/2020 23:04

Thank you so much for suggestions @Doordye and @JoeWicksSurvivor
The Pinter does look really good and he will love the home made beer aspect so I think
I will go with that one too!

jingleballing · 24/11/2020 23:06

Also thank you to the poster who mentioned that friends of joules had 25% off. SmileThanks

I finally got my hands on my cox and cox bee door knocker that I've been coveting for years (but never had the nice door for it to go on).

Thread 22 - the one with mad sheep disease
woodwaj · 24/11/2020 23:10

@RaggieDolls its ok i told him to Grin

@Turnedouttoes I dont mind paying it in one go but I know they sometimes drop it to £59 so didn't know if I should hold out for a couple of days 🤞

SewVeryLazy · 24/11/2020 23:27

@Snowflakedoggy my niece is into sylvanians and my sister has suggested jacinabox.co.uk to get them cheaper, so worth a look. There are some lovely sets of little fairground rides for the babies, which I think are super cute and reasonably priced, but never on her wish list!

GarlicSoup · 24/11/2020 23:29

I got a replacement wheel on Amazon It was £3ish.
