Thanks to @friskybivalves for the title

I think we might actually make it to 25 threads!!

please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Here’s Barbarara’s instructions from last year on doing clicky links:

Open double square brackets
No space
Paste link
Space
Name of link
No space
Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

@winewolfhowls

Did anyone get their Vodafone chocolate yet?
If it's to doisy and dam then ours arrived today. It's vegan but I cant give to my nephew as planned . Packets say made in a factory with risk of nut and milk contamination. Bummed out but he's been only 2 and been blue lighted in a couple of times after contact with tiny traces of milk and eggs , so just not worth the risk

Has anyone ever used webtogs - sell outdoor type clothing. I want the north face toiletry bag but it’s a lot cheaper than other places.

Christmascaker · 24/11/2020 20:03

@Riverhouse that looks great, thank you!!!

@Theonlyoneiknow I have these bags I think they could work. Out of stock at the moment but have found that Hema update their stock quite frequently so maybe worth keeping an eye out for.

margaritasbythesea · 24/11/2020 20:05

Theonlyoneiknow www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07JJNPVT4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?psc=1These&tag=mumsnetforu03-21&ie=UTF8 are the ones I got last year. OOS now but might give you an idea.

some absolute bastard (read - immediate beloved family member - probably small) took the middle out of my tape dispenser. I am still aggrieved

Iggi999 · 24/11/2020 20:09

@I8toys can I ask how you do an Argos stock alert? I've looked at xboxes on there and it just says not available, doesn't give any option for notifying me when it's in stock!

JaggyJumper · 24/11/2020 20:16

Thanks whoever recommended WHSmith for a Filofax. They have 10% off a £20 spend and free delivery over £15. Also have the Filofax at 40% off

DD has added Sylvanian Families to her list today (just before I'm about to post it to Royal Mail Santa!).

She already has the house with the red roof, car and two types of animal families.

Has anyone seen any bargains for any Sylvanian stuff?

I was in home bargains the other day and saw a few Sylvanian bits. Not sure exactly what as I don't have anyone be to buy it for but could be worth a look if you have one close by?
unkindnessofravens · 24/11/2020 20:41

Thanks to the pp who mentioned the Seasalt totes. I've seen these mentioned in years gone by but never thought I needed them. Bought 2 in the 2 for £10 deal to hold hamper type gifts and they are so lovely. So much so, I want to keep them for myself!

Amazon had a few things under their black friday deals. Homesbargains have a couple of things on their website. Some of the blind bags & a house I think. Worth keeping an eye on their website as well as TKMaxx too.

margaritasbythesea two small people here lost the middle out of my first heavy duty tape dispenser - I was furious! I bought another, and the bloody middle thing turned up somewhere in the house about 3 yrs later! Wonder if it would fit yours?

Rubyroo73 · 24/11/2020 20:59

@WisestIsShe thanks so much!
I’ll give it a try x

I8toys · 24/11/2020 21:07

@Iggi99 I think I signed up to alerts first time around in september. I got mine from Amazon in the end.

RaggieDolls · 24/11/2020 21:10

@mrsdaz I've ordered these belkin ones from John Lewis for DH. It's a proper brand with a very good discount.

I found this at John Lewis & Partners. What do you think? https://www.johnlewis.com/belkin-soundform-true-wireless-earbuds/white/p5161868?tmad=c&tmcampid=7&sshare=jlappioss_Y29tLmFwcGxlLlVJS2l0LmFjdGl2aXR5LkNvcHlUb1Bhc3RlYm9hcmQ=

RaggieDolls · 24/11/2020 21:11

The 'what do you think' has been added automatically making me sound over involved in your Christmas shopping Hmm

Amazonmulu · 24/11/2020 21:17

Is anyone else watching "The truth about Amazon" 😱

Bezzi · 24/11/2020 21:18

Thank you so much! These look perfect I've ordered them :-)

Shitfuckoh · 24/11/2020 21:24

Sorry if it's already been mentioned but Tesco have a code XXPT7M £5 off a £40 spend on Toys. Can be used with the 3 for 2 on Lego as well.
''Save £5 when you spend £40 on selected Toys. Enter code XXPT7M at checkout. One code per transaction. Coupon valid between 23/11/20 – 06/12/20.''

cataline · 24/11/2020 21:29

Not especially bargainous as they're over £20 but librio does the most gorgeous personalised children's books.

I've just ordered a lovely one for my nephew siblings which sets them in a hide and seek story,

You can add a personalised inscription too.

winewolfhowls · 24/11/2020 21:33

@margaritasbythesea little fingers fiddled with my tape dispenser when I had only had it out once. His name was muck let me tell you.
Now my poor joy dispenser is all rattly. 😥

TheCrow · 24/11/2020 21:38

Any m&s codes going or black Friday deals expected? Got some towels and a bath mat to order

Chunkychipsohyeah · 24/11/2020 21:38

@Christmascaker thank you so much for the suggestion of a wildlife camera, that’s the perfect present for my mum, genius! Unfortunately however I will need to go for a low tech one; this one uses an sd card camera but it could be worth searching the brand for one that can link with an app?

Thank you so much to everyone for their brilliant suggestions and helpful comments throughout all the threads.

Just finally is anyone still waiting for a Rocket and Rose fiver Friday T-shirt? It’ll be 8 weeks this Friday since I ordered Confused

Scout2016 · 24/11/2020 21:39

@Snowflakedoggy Smyths have a school gift set for £35 that includes the school and 3 figures and some bread for lunch. Can't have them going hungry.
