Thanks to @friskybivalves for the title

I think we might actually make it to 25 threads!!

please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Here’s Barbarara’s instructions from last year on doing clicky links:

Open double square brackets

Name of link
No space
Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

BEER suggestion - Pinter fresh beer home brewing machine from

www.thegreatergood.co.uk

Costs £75 and is a recently launched product so would be a good surprise gift. Looks pretty funky and getting great reviews

@Doordye and @LionMummyRoar

MalingeringMary · 24/11/2020 19:03

@Iggi999 ah, sorry, thought it might be too good to be true! Good luck getting the other one!

PinkDaydreams · 24/11/2020 19:03

I think I'm finished! But will obviously keep lurking just in case I can help out with any bargains (but will have to keep my purse firmly closed and not be tempted!)

Just a reminder about John Lewis price match. I've ordered an aftershave gift set which is currently on offer but I'm thinking if it comes down further in price on black Friday or anywhere else reduces it then I'll do a price match.

@icedaisy

Probably a stupid question.

My parents have an old box of toys.

In it is a small gadget that fits in my hand. You push it in and then put it behind a car or toy and press a button and it fires out and launches the car.

What is this called?

I've tried car launcher and various words.

Dd absolutely loves it and thought be good in her stocking.

Hot wheels do a “pocket launcher” not sure if they still make them but they have them on eBay.
MalingeringMary · 24/11/2020 19:06

Just thought of another place it might be worth keeping an eye on @Iggi999. ebuyer My IT savvy OH buys from these guys so I can recommend them, they say they have more stock coming soon.

Christmascaker · 24/11/2020 19:14

This is a bit of a long shot but my mum has asked for a wildlife camera for the garden Hmm
I’ve done some looking into it, I’m pretty sure she’d need one that links to an app on her phone or it won’t get used. Does anyone know anymore about these things than I do? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Theonlyoneiknow · 24/11/2020 19:19

Last year I found these packs of 25 (?) brown paper bags with xmas stickers that were perfect for stockings. I can't remember where they were from and amazon only giving me expensive ones! Would anyone have come across such a thing? Thanks!

I8toys · 24/11/2020 19:19

Argos has just sent me an re stock alert that they are expecting X Box X's early tomorrow.

Gardenworm · 24/11/2020 19:20

Mango Outlet have 70% off everything & free delivery over £40 (I think). Including kids clothes.

winewolfhowls · 24/11/2020 19:22

Did anyone get their Vodafone chocolate yet?

Riverhouse · 24/11/2020 19:22

@christmascracker I'm not sure wildlife cameras linking to your phone but we got one called Green Feathers Bird Box camera (you don't have to put it in a bird box) that links to your TV so you just switch the channel over to view. Got it from Amazon, sorry can't do links on my phone for some reason. It's £44.99 atm

Vickles20 · 24/11/2020 19:23

@Scout2016

Turns out I'm not done. Can anyone remember the Etsy shop who do turtle dove type gloves but cheaper? Been back over last few threads and can't see it.

Tearsofthemushroom I feel like my answer to everything is TKMaxx! but for skinny DS2 I managed to kit him out for years from their teen range- they do age 13-16 on lots of brands (sometimes branded boys XL). He's only 14 but now 6 foot, so I now have new issues (leg and sleeve length but not wanting it to look huge!). Otherwise I second Gap who do a decent amount in XS men, Adidas are quite slim and French Connection too. As he gets older Zara is your friend (DS1 always successful in there).

SecretDancer · 24/11/2020 19:34

DD(4) has asked for Hotel Transylvania toys, she's become obsessed, apparently vampires are for life not just for Halloween. Has anyone seen anything, preferably bargainous of course!
There's a few bits on eBay but mainly overpriced happy meal toys so I'm pulling a blank

Puffalicious · 24/11/2020 19:36

CoffeeandEnnui I'm thrilled you got your Switch! I've been outraged on your behalf with all your let downs. Happy Switching for your dd.

AndddddHerewegoagain · 24/11/2020 19:37

@winewolfhowls mine was here when i got home today

IggyAce · 24/11/2020 19:42

@winewolfhowls mine hasn’t arrived yet, but I’m sure it will arrive soon.

VividImagination · 24/11/2020 19:46

@winewolfhowls I haven’t got mine yet but I’m in the Scottish Highlands so will probably be a couple of days after everyone else.

LyraSilvertongueBelacqua · 24/11/2020 19:48

I'd love a heads up if anyone sees Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit: Mario Edition Nintendo Switch in stock anywhere please!

purplediva · 24/11/2020 19:51

do smiggle offer free postage discount - they have some great black Friday deals but postage is £5

Bezzi · 24/11/2020 19:53

@SecretDancer there is a distinct lack of hotel Transylvania toys. My ds is a massive fan and all I've ever found is the happy meal toys (yes I did pay a hugely overinflated price for them) and a snap game. There are some bits on amazon at the moment
board game
blind packs
figures

Bezzi · 24/11/2020 19:54

@SecretDancer there's also a duvet set on amazon if she's in the market for one of those!

CoffeeAndEnnui · 24/11/2020 19:55

@Puffalicious, that's such a lovely thing to say, thank you! Must admit I am now super excited to see dd's face when she discovers it. Think we're going to hide it right at the back among the grown-ups' pressies so we can do the ultimate taa daaa!!! This process has made me evolve from dubious about giving her one to holding myself back from giving it to her right nowBlush Hope your console and other surprises meet with happy dances on the big day too!

CoffeeAndEnnui · 24/11/2020 19:59

@SecretDancer, we had the same issue with dd when she fell in love with the film. Managed to make her a pretty convincing Mavis costume using knock-off red Converse, stripey tights, bat wings and a cheap little black dress.
