I still have no idea if that’s a typo, euphemism or actual shop
@XFPW 😬

please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Thank you for all the bargains posted so far, this is a really uplifting thread Flowers

I got Wax Lyrical Christmas candles ‘Holiday Time’ and ‘Holly Jolly’ from Homesense today one was £3.99 and one £4.99 - possibly old stock as the packaging is different from the Amazon ones on an earlier thread - but they smell good!

I’m making my own December 1st box so also got Gin and Tonic flavoured After Eights (£2) and cranberry and orange Jaffa cakes from Poundland which I’m looking forward to trying Grin

thisisexhausting · 31/10/2020 23:00
@thisisexhausting that looks fab!! I’ve ordered for DS2 who has spent the last week doing art from sun up to sun down
Your welcome. They have quite a few stocking fillers too, HP and friends

TheLastStarfighter · 31/10/2020 23:00

@HollyGennaro oh my word, gin and tonic after eights and cranberry jaffa cakes sound like my idea of heaven!

dizzygirl1 · 31/10/2020 23:02

Grabbed the Christmas Socks 3 for £3.49, although women's I'm hoping they will be good enough for me, DD and DS 😊
Has anyone seen any decent offers on the star wars lego advent calendar?

IggyAce · 31/10/2020 23:05

Well given the news today I’m glad that I started shopping early, thanks for all the bargains and chat. I’m pretty sure this 2nd lockdown will kill the high street off. I’m going to get all the gifts out tomorrow and see what else if anything I need. I will probably start wrapping them next week.

Siddalee · 31/10/2020 23:06

@TheRosariojewels

I have just made an order from penhaligons from the secret sale previously mentioned. If anyone would like a referral code we both receive a free elixir classic candle please PM me.
@TheRosariojewels- yes please
Clevererthanyou · 31/10/2020 23:12

Sorry to be a bother, but did someone mention a 6ft inflatable Santa or have I finally lost my mind?

Inspirationpending · 31/10/2020 23:14

Wondering if nectar double up will still go ahead?

HoneysuckleHalliana · 31/10/2020 23:16

Does anyone have a code for Emma Bridgewater please?

Rockhopper81 · 31/10/2020 23:16

@Clevererthanyou - you haven't lost your mind (or if you have, so have I), as I clearly remember a 6ft inflatable Santa being mentioned too. Unfortunately I can't remember where it was...Homebase?

I bought the 5 Hygge bands for £15, which was a result - I bought the adult sized ones for my 7 and 10 year olds nephews, as they had very little left in the children's ones. I suspect they'll wear them around the neck as scarfs anyway, so they'll be fine.

Also, just to echo @PinkDaydreams, the atmosphere is so lovely and welcoming - I'm really, really struggling with my MH at the moment, so it's nice to be around such helpful and kind people (even if only virtually!) when I can't be around my loved ones (for at least another month after today's announcement 😞).

Rockhopper81 · 31/10/2020 23:19

@Clevererthanyou - I had a look and actually found it! 😲

Not sure of store stock levels, but worth a try...

6ft Santa £20 from £40

Haveyoubrushedyourteeth · 31/10/2020 23:23

@clevererthanyou the Santa is in Homebase for 20£.
I really wanted one, but I'm fairly certain that the dog would see him as a giant squeaky and wrestle him to the floor 🤣

Clevererthanyou · 31/10/2020 23:33

Thank you! @Rockhopper81 and @Haveyoubrushedyourteeth, sadly they’re not available for delivery :( I was going to buy one to cheer up the office where I work 🙈🙈

Fancyateapottea · 31/10/2020 23:36

@HoneysuckleHalliana howl15 should give you 15% off at Emma Bridgewater.

Fancyateapottea · 31/10/2020 23:39

Sorry that should be in capitals so HOWL15

LatteLover12 · 01/11/2020 00:35

Thank you @Scout2016 that looks fab!

NightOwl19 · 01/11/2020 03:52

Does anyone know if you buy from the pandora website do the items come in gofr boxes like you could get when buying in the shop? I have w couple of bits to get but wanted to wait for Black Friday

IggyAce · 01/11/2020 05:04

@NightOwl19 never brought anything from the Pandora store but ordered Dd some earrings for her birthday and they came with a white Pandora box. Happy to post a picture later if needed.

Reastie · 01/11/2020 05:18

Just a reminder to keep referral links on the referral thread (see op for link). Thank you

I just got some Vera Wang Princess had a massive 72% off. There's loads of fragrances with discounts at the moment.

Thegirlhasnoname · 01/11/2020 06:51

@Muddlewitch

I know this is minor in the grand scheme of things, but I wonder what will happen with the nectar double up now that lockdown has been announced over the time it was meant to be on. All the categories are non essential, wonder if they will make it available online or in December.
I’m really hoping it will still be on (even if it will take me into a physical supermarket for the first time since February!) even if it goes online. I figure it’s probably one of the cheapest ways to get a bunch of clothes for surprise DS who is due to be born in the new year as we stupidly didn’t save any of his sisters clothes 😅
thelegohooverer · 01/11/2020 07:01

10SAVE gives 10% off orders over £50 at skinny food also free delivery over £5

15% off AVEDA UK with code EARLYBIRD and 50% off invati 3 step set at Aveda.ie bringing it to €70

Amazon have some reductions on Duracell batteries I’m still in bed but I need to check if the coin ones are the right size for my tea lights.

PinkDaydreams · 01/11/2020 07:17

@Bert2020 yes it was me wanting a convertible book, thank you 😁

CoffeeAndCake3 · 01/11/2020 07:47

Gosh the paddy and Scotts starter pack of coffee is now £20.99. I didn't buy it when it was £15, but now I'm rather annoyed I didn't 😂 never mind, this thread makes you buy things you didn't know you need!
