I still have no idea if that’s a typo, euphemism or actual shop
@XFPW 😬

please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

NightOwl19 I have always got boxes/bags with online Pandora orders. I’m almost sure there is the option to tick a box saying it is for a gift and you need to do that.

bettyskitchen · 01/11/2020 08:11

Papier have 20% off today discount applied at the checkout.

www.papier.com/

Thanks to @Dreamingofwalden and @IveBeenGood for the Aussie gift tips, I’ve ordered some chocolates 😃

recklessgran · 01/11/2020 08:23

Extra 20% off sale at ALL SAINTS not cheap but very bargainous if you like the brand.

Lovemusic33 · 01/11/2020 08:27

Is there a cheaper version of ‘pandora’ anywhere? Dd keeps mentioning charm bracelets but I think she just likes the idea of collecting charms and probably won’t wear it. I don’t want to spend a fortune as she’s getting a ipad for Christmas but it’s her birthday a few weeks after Christmas.

JaneyJimplin · 01/11/2020 08:34

@Lovemusic33 I've previously bought charms from places like ebay and amazon. My sil has a Pandora bracelet, and I've bought her non Pandora charms for much cheaper that fit her bangle. Search for Pandora style charm and you'll get lots of options.

JaneyJimplin · 01/11/2020 08:36

@Lovemusic33 sorry, that wasn't very coherent! I mean you could buy a proper Pandora bangle and then cheaper charms to fit.

It's actually a great present, as it means you never run out of ideas for what to buy!

alseb · 01/11/2020 08:38

I also want to buy some Pandora items. Does anyone know if they normally get reduced as part of Black Friday?

Lovemusic33 · 01/11/2020 08:40

Thank you, I shall have a look on eBay x

Sneezein3s · 01/11/2020 08:54

Dobble Aldi have Dobble and Gruffall Dobble for £8.99, which I think is a good price. There’s also a waterproof version - although I’m not sure why you’d need it to be waterproof?

Also some feedback on the Yoto box which was recommended to me many threads ago. It was DD’s birthday yesterday and she loves it. It’s so well made and easy to use. Thank you to those who recommended it Smile

luckiestgirl · 01/11/2020 09:02

@thisisexhausting

My first contribution, which looks more expensive than it is Mega art set
Thanks! Just bought this, very good price
NightOwl19 · 01/11/2020 09:14
@NightOwl19 never brought anything from the Pandora store but ordered Dd some earrings for her birthday and they came with a white Pandora box. Happy to post a picture later if needed.
That would be great thank you

Hi, looking for the big squishmallows, over 40 cm, has anyone seen them bargainous? smyths wants 39.90 plus, which is a bit above what I had in mind!

PhantomErik · 01/11/2020 09:44

Has anyone seen any That's Not My... books that come with a toy, suitable for a baby boy?

I saw the dinosaur one on Amazon but the reviews say the first page is in Spanish & the rest in English Confused

Currently watch a Snowman one that's £11.99.

Actually any book & toy bundle would be interesting if anyone has seen a bargain.

Delahot · 01/11/2020 09:49

@danuta22 I got a 40cm dragon squishmallow from The Entertainer for £20. Prices seem quite random but worth looking there. Ordered on free click and collect. Really gorgeous.

Delahot · 01/11/2020 09:51

Any idea where to get a discount on big Lego sets? The Harry Potter Diagon Alley is the one I’m after but eye wateringly expensive!

You'd need to waterproof version in case you want to play outside with people not in your household. Grin

@lifelongfrugaleer my dds are 11 and 8. Some gifts they both like are lego - eldest the brickheadz range or harry potter. Youngest likes the friends/Harry potter range. They both love cuddly toys - cutetitos are v cute they are a surprise animal in a burrito wrap, last I checked were £7 on amazon. Funko pop figures - either the minis or full size. Both dds display the bigger ones and play with the minis. Eldest collects five nights at freddys, marvel and DC characters. My youngest likes the harry potter, disney or jurassic park. Both adore snuggly blankets and hot water bottles. Scratch art books went down very well with both dds last year. Hope this helps 😁

princessbear80 · 01/11/2020 10:03

@PhantomErik have a look at Books & Pieces for book and toy gift sets. I’ve bought a few from there in the past. They also usually have deals on books such as 3 for £10. It’s all pre-school stuff.

Carriemac · 01/11/2020 10:03

I have some Lakeland codes £5 off for a spend of £39 and £10 for a spend of £50
PM me

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 01/11/2020 10:04

I went to b&m and home bargains yesterday (wasn't overly impressed with either shop). I didnt see the sacks people are talking about whats so special about them? I saw someone lovely alphabet ones in matalan that were super soft for £10 each.

Hophop26 · 01/11/2020 10:07

@PhantomErik I saw several book and toy sets in Sainsbury’s this week and Tesco normally gets them in too, and tend to be better priced than amazon

Sneezein3s · 01/11/2020 10:07

@waitforitwaitforit now it makes sense Grin

Aldi often have those sets (got the unicorn one) but also have sets of a board book and toy. Got a Thomas the Tank Engine one and also a Gruffalo one fairly recently, for about £6 each.
EdmundElephantIsACleverClogs · 01/11/2020 10:16

@danuta22 I got one in Costco a few weeks ago for £10, if you have one near you it might be worth a look.

villamariavintrapp · 01/11/2020 10:24

Costco have gin baubles-9 for £13.99 says shipping included. They also apparently have a light up gin snow globe but I can't see it online.
