I still have no idea if that’s a typo, euphemism or actual shop
@XFPW 😬

please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

I think gift cards are ok if you go for companies that are reasonably safe (doing well), I’m not sure if JD is safe tbh, haven’t they had issues in the past? I would think tk max would be ok. I will be sticking to Amazon vouchers I think, or ones that can be used in multiple places.

Lovemusic33 · 03/11/2020 14:20

I have 3 kids to buy for, £10 budget each.

Girl 15 (not very girl, bit geeky)
Boy 15 (likes sport, football)
Boy 10 (likes football)

Maybe I’m better off doing vouchers or sweets?

IggyAce · 03/11/2020 14:29

Went to primark this morning, no queue to get in. Got the bits and bobs I wanted unfortunately not many ladies pjs in medium in my local store. I did managed to get a beautiful super soft lounge set for £12, my dd is going to be jealous. Thanks to this thread I’m 90% done and anything else I need I can buy at the supermarket.
@Reastie heads up thread is nearly full.

CoffeeAndEnnui · 03/11/2020 14:47

Not the £12ish Fenwick bargain of this morning (GUTTED I missed out) but Lego Harry Potter advent calendar is £19.99 on Amazon (and free delivery with Prime) right now.

MaltbyMaeve · 03/11/2020 15:03

I don't suppose anyone has seen a White Stuff discount code anywhere?

Thank you. I really, really hard not to shop with Amazon so I’ll keep looking :)

I can give gruum code as well.

angstyalways · 03/11/2020 15:30

Hi all, would I be able to have a Matalan code please? I can offer student discount if anyone needs one. Thank you

Onlyahalfbottle · 03/11/2020 15:32

I've been browsing hobbycraft for some ideas to keep DS3 busy during lockdown and I found the colour in cardboard train that he will absolutely love but it's out of stock, do they restock regularly or should I just go for the castle?

WhereTheresAHill · 03/11/2020 15:35

@MaltbyMaeve White stuff send out £10 vouchers for your birthday with no min spend, so perhaps sign up with your birthday for the end of this month? If not I recall seeing some discounts advertised on their homepage this morning

Onlyahalfbottle · 03/11/2020 15:35

In case anyone needs these

Thank you. Do you know what the deal is? I’ve added a subscription to my basket plus bath bar £15.50.

oatmilkisntsobad · 03/11/2020 15:57

I've finally found a hoodie that my DD would like from House of Fraser. It's already reduced but still £64! My unidays code won't work. Any other codes that anyone has would be greatly appreciated.

@GazingAndGrazing i think you need to add the items separately and then the code

MaltbyMaeve · 03/11/2020 16:02

Thanks so much @WhereTheresAHill

SewVeryLazy · 03/11/2020 16:10

A couple of questions is no one minds:

If you have a yoto, is it worth it? I have a 3yr old and a 5yr old, I might have to buy 2 if I do it at all... Can the cards be shared across them if you have more than one?

Has anyone actually got the super Mario lego? My son and brother would love the idea of it, but I'm concerned it would get boring really quickly (it's hard to tell what would keep you engaged with it for more than 1 play session), is it worth the money or is it a fad?

Delahot · 03/11/2020 16:10

Anyone seen any small aromatherapy diffuser things? They are just for children’s rooms so only need to be small but plug in not battery or USB

Delahot · 03/11/2020 16:11

Anywhere with discount off big Lego Sets. I’m looking for Harry Potter Diagon Alley but sooo expensive!

Reastie · 03/11/2020 16:17

new thread

Thanks @IggyAce for reminder, was out shopping for fireworks!

I’m hoping there will be some offers for Black Friday, last year Amazon and smyths had some pretty good Lego deals but you have to be quick when they start their new deals each day, I think some Harry Potter sets were reduced last year but mainly the smaller sets.
