please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

Reduced from £20 to £4 - no idea if it’s great but the description sounds dreadful so I know my lot will love it...

EvilHerbivore · 28/10/2020 23:28

I remember watching (I think on bbc a few years ago) something like 'the play that went wrong' - think it was Peter Pan?
Does anyone know what I'm on about and where I could watch it again? DSs are now at the age to find that really funny 😆

Imnotweirdimlimitededition1 · 28/10/2020 23:30

Is this what you mean? It's on in London. Tickets going back on sale. Would really recommend it.

The Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society Grin

There's The Play That Goes Wrong, Peter Pan Goes Wrong and A Christmas Carol Goes Wrong, I think.

They're very funny live. I don't know if a DVD of the filmed ones has been released.

Hophop26 · 28/10/2020 23:42

Thank you to whoever it was that posted about the photo advent calendars, good at 3for2 even if has taken me hours to sort photos for 3 different calendars! Word of warning it is nearly 3 weeks delivery timescale so if posting on as gifts (which I am) don’t leave it more than another week or may miss the beginning of advent!

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 28/10/2020 23:44

There has been a series "The Goes Wrong Show", which you can get on DVD that I didn't know about. The premise is they're putting on a half hour tv play every week. I might put that on my own list actually!

Brashopper · 29/10/2020 01:03

You can watch those 6 half hour episodes of The Goes Wrong Show free on BBC IPlayer.

That’s even more of a bargain!

Tier3ToTier3 · 29/10/2020 01:10

@NaraDeer I’m writing this whilst currently on page 7 of the thread. We have the Pro version and it’s amazing. We also wanted something that would do what you wanted at the touch of a button - no grinding or having to froth your own milk! Not sure of which one you want, but we have this one and really rate it.

Also, did you know you can get a subscription from nespresso which means you choose a coffee machine for £1. Might be worth looking at.

@NerosFiddle I always look for Calvin Klein's but end up purchasing from ASOS when they have 20% off as im worried I'll end up buying fakes my mistake.

IggyAce · 29/10/2020 06:04

IveBeenGood · 29/10/2020 06:39

@Reastie and @nicky2512 I bought the photo jigsaw for my FIL in Feb. He absolutely loved it and his friends all said what a good idea it was.

nicky2512 · 29/10/2020 06:45

IveBeenGood That’s brilliant. - I’m so excited about it. The friend I’ve ordered it for is so hard to buy for. She doesn’t really want or need anything but she does jigsaws and she’s crazy about her wee dog so I think she’ll love it.

Reastie · 29/10/2020 06:57

@EvilHerbivore massively recommend the goes wrong show on iPlayer. Dd (9) loves it so we’ve seen them about a million times each! There’s also a Christmas special.

Thank you for the sleep/oodie comments and suggestions for cosleeping. I’m not sure an oodie would quite be the right thing.

UselessInDisguise · 29/10/2020 07:14

Reastie, for Cosleeping and breastfeeding (not sure if you said you were or not) I have found a night shirt (like a proper man's check shirt sort of thing) with cami underneath and pj bottoms the best. Easy access to feed but keep warm. But I am extraordinarily lazy and feed laying down so it's a 'pop the boob out' whilst still asleep kind of scenario. Second choice would be a onesie I think! I don't have an oodie but I think the hood would be a pain

Has anyone seen a list of which magazines are included in the Molton Brown subscription offer? I can see it’s pay in full rather than direct debit subscription, but not sure whether it’s available on all of them
