please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Here’s Barbarara’s instructions from last year on doing clicky links:

Open double square brackets
No space
Paste link
Space
Name of link
No space
Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

@CompleteBarstool

A few threads back someone posted about the cotton/macrame style hanging rainbow from B&M for £3.

I've just bought one and it is lovely! What a bargain!
Much bigger than I thought it would be too. I was expecting Xmas tree decoration size but its around 8ins x 6ins at a guess.

I can't see it on their website but its this one mentioned on HUKD

Thank you for the tip about the rainbow! I went and picked one up today and it’s absolutely lovely. Feels like a huge bargain for £3Smile

Has anyone seen a minecraft onesie, with a hood, preferably cosy material & in age 13 size please?

ButtonMoonLoon · 28/10/2020 17:34

A few years ago someone recommended a book for children on one of these threads - it was called something like or similar to ‘The most amazing/spectacular/ wonderful book ever’
I meant to bookmark the thread or name of the book and I completely forgot and I’ve always regretted it.
Does anyone remember it?

Amazon has this one in 13-14 year old size.

Could it be the 'Absolutely Everything' book?

I might have a trip to the big Sainsbury's for a recce. I never use my nectar points, so have about £250 worth on my card. Shock

NoWordForFluffy · 28/10/2020 18:08

You could get most of your Christmas for free with that many!

If we hadn't been spending ours steadily for a couple of months, we'd have about £400 now. As it is, it's just gone down to £128.00 as I swapped £50 worth on DH's card to take shopping with me. I'll swap on the app with my card in store.

lifelongfrugaleer · 28/10/2020 18:16

I think the nectar categories are quite limited this time. I will be getting a couple of gifts though

NoWordForFluffy · 28/10/2020 18:20

They're the same categories that they've had for a while though. What do you think is missing (that sounds a bit snarky in my head; it's not meant to!)?

lifelongfrugaleer · 28/10/2020 18:23

Are they? I thought the did more of the alcohol section? Maybe I've never taken as much notice as I don't buy drink usually. Wasn't snarky btw

lexloofah · 28/10/2020 18:29

Thnx for TKMaxx Spode link, have ordered the bowl and also one of those wax lyrical diffuser and votive gift sets for £6.99 which seems about right, wouldn't pay £15 for one, link here

NoWordForFluffy · 28/10/2020 18:30

No, it's always been TTD only (annoyingly). I only know this because I have always only bought booze with mine! 😂😂 This will be my first year of branching out to other categories.

Queuing4Fergs · 28/10/2020 18:42

It sounds like they've clamped down on being able to use double up twice if you have 2 separate cards for the same account? Or have I read Clause 13 incorrectly?

And thanks for the heads up PP!

NoWordForFluffy · 28/10/2020 18:45

I thought that, Queuing (that's how our account runs). But I'll still try!

buckeejit · 28/10/2020 18:45

I've been checking all the TTD wines to see what's best! The, they are generally all good quality. He bought me the best wines in the supermarket book last Christmas & there are a few TTDs that are 9 or 10/10

NoWordForFluffy · 28/10/2020 18:50

Right, I just checked! I ordered £50.00 from DH's card and £5.00 from mine. So no, loophole not closed!

Givealittlebit · 28/10/2020 18:52

Sorry to ask again!
If anyone's got a student code or other code for sports direct I can use I'd be super grateful. We need to order some football boots with next day delivery so anything to take the sting out of that would be greatly appreciated

IggyAce · 28/10/2020 18:55

After some advice what is the sizing like for Tokyo Laundry? Is it generous or on the small side. I’ve lost loads of weight this year and I’m currently a size 12 in Next & Asda.

Didyeaye · 28/10/2020 19:17

@Someaddedsugar no idea re the RRP sorry! Just someone sent me it incase I was looking for one

lifelongfrugaleer · 28/10/2020 19:24

@NoWordForFluffy thanks. That is annoying.

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 28/10/2020 19:27

Has anyone managed to swap their nectar points via the app yet? I got the email but there is nothing on the app that I can see.

Puffalicious · 28/10/2020 19:30

The Ebay code is not exclusively for Superdry, there's lots of different things on it including some Barbie Playmobil and a lovely wooden train track. Worth a look.

NoWordForFluffy · 28/10/2020 19:31

No. The app swap is only when it's live. You need to go onto the website to swap for postal vouchers.
