please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Here’s Barbarara’s instructions from last year on doing clicky links:

Open double square brackets
No space
Paste link
Space
Name of link
No space
Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

@Delahot I bought some in Flying Tiger, they are huge!

Reastie · 28/10/2020 09:50

@Jojobythesea I suspect maybe it’s a perk of paying for the mn premium then perhaps, which is a bit annoying but I guess they need to make money somehow

Does anyone please have a discount code for SportsShoes.com. Ds3’s feet have grown again!

I have been sent these Matalan codes. I don’t know if they are account specific but would be worth a try if anyone needs one.

I saw Christmas PJs for men & boys in Matalan, that included shorts. Cartoon reindeer design.

@UselessInDisguise

Does anyone have a bright idea how to present my beer 52 box to my brother? It's one of the original ones brought weeks ago. The box is fine but it's plastered with beer 52 stuff so quite obvious it's a subscription. I've brought some snacks to go with it to make a set. I'd buy a hamper kit but it doesn't make the set so bargainous if I spend the same on the wrapping Blush (the beer was only £5.99 at the time)
Cut the box down and then cover in giftwrap/brown paper etc.

Or do the same with any box, pot etc. Pad out the bottom with paper or bubble wrap etc underneath the wrapping if needed. You could then wrap the whole box in paper as a gift that you just have to hold upright to avoid the bottles ripping paper!

Or use a nice jute bag/christmas gift box from home bargains. Not sure how many beers but you wont spent much more than £2!

UselessInDisguise · 28/10/2020 11:04

@bookish83 genius... You lot are amazing Grin

Thank you, thank you!

I did a few hampers this way last year. One year I spray painted a round plant plate as i wanted to make stand up round gift sets!

You could also lay the beers flat in the box you make too and use shredded tissue

PinkDaydreams · 28/10/2020 11:15

As I suspected, ASOS have 20% off with code FLIPYOURFEARS I said yesterday that I'd noticed reduced items I'd saved had gone back up to full price, they seem to do this when they have a 20% off code coming up. Anyway I'll stop moaning now!

Fubbs · 28/10/2020 11:29

Anyone still waiting for part of Oodie order? Got three in August, order said last one would ship 1st October but still nothing. Only email customer service, desperately slow and keep telling me I got a delivery. I know it's not needed until Christmas but I want to make sure at least I'm going to get it!

Allhallowseve · 28/10/2020 11:33

Thanks for McDonald's tip! We have been in isolation for nearly two weeks so going to use the 50%off for a Halloween treat !

PinkJam · 28/10/2020 11:36

Can anyone remember what offers or discounts the Disney Store did last year or normally do for Black Friday please?

DD has been chatting last few days about some toys from there and I am just trying to decide whether to buy them now with the 20% discount offer or wait for Black Friday.
