Buns!!

oatmilkisntsobad · 18/10/2020 07:50

Can see the buns but they won't add to my basket!!

Allhallowseve · 18/10/2020 07:52

Aldi done got the kitchen was a toss up between that and the Ikea one !

EweSurname · 18/10/2020 08:01

@oatmilkisntsobad it did that to me last time I tried - I think it might be when they’re switching the price back up? I was able to buy some earlier but now it won’t let me add any to the basket/buy it now.

PinkDaydreams · 18/10/2020 08:01

@NoWordForFluffy sorry for late reply! I live within walking distance to the Sainsbury's on Jennifer avenue, near greatie market. It's medium sized, smaller than rice lane but its got an Argos in it. To be honest I haven't got a nectar card, had one years ago but gave up on it as it took forever to get points. They're more generous with points now and you can link the card to eBay etc so I prob should get one.
I always find that Jennifer avenue is quiet, the clothing sale is always good too as they have loads! I think people forget about it so it always seems to be well stocked.

NoWordForFluffy · 18/10/2020 08:06

Thank you!

I don't even recall seeing yours on the store locator! I'll take a look though as Rice Lane was really disappointing.

We've racked up points this year now they di them differently. It's worth a shot!

Did an Aldi order earlier. A couple of things had sold out online already! But some absolutely lovely stuff at great prices Smile

Arthien · 18/10/2020 08:11

Thank you for all the advice about graphics tablets, it arrived two days ago so that’s DH’s main present sorted. It turned up without an Amazon box despite me ticking to add one, so I complained on live chat and they credit my account a tenner, so that was worthwhile!

For anyone who bought puppets, the Aldi puppet theatre is online www.aldi.co.uk/little-town-wooden-playshop-theatre/p/018521415455500

ShoppingBasket · 18/10/2020 08:15

Baby Yoda Animatronic down to £45 on amazon

Chocolatecake12 · 18/10/2020 08:18

I was in Dunelm yesterday and saw large bath rubber ducks styled like snowmen/Father Christmas and reindeer that I think were £2
And also a bag of mini bath toys that were Christmas themed. £4 I think!! Made me wish I had little children to buy for!!

Hello, can I ask for some help and opinions my daughter would like an instax 11 camera, the one that prints out Polaroid photos. They are expensive and I worry that it may not get a lot of use as the film is also expensive. Any tips or reviews of them. Thank you.

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 18/10/2020 08:40

@livinginhope87 I really rate the instal cameras, I got my teens one about 6 years ago and they are still going strong - very sturdy. The film is expensive and I bought them a few packets when it was a novelty but now they just ask for some at Xmas or a birthday.

Elskerdeg · 18/10/2020 08:42

Advent calendars and Christmas bedding next week at Aldi!

I know both are popular things on here.

Sad but I love going on to Aldi's page every Sunday like 'Aldi, tell me what I need (to talk myself out of buying!) this week'. I definitely do the same with this thread as well Grin

livinginhope87 · 18/10/2020 08:52

Thank you Naturalblondyeahright. It is good to here that they last. Now need to find a deal!!

IggyAce · 18/10/2020 08:53

I have mixed feelings about our Instax camera. I bought one after my sister had one at her wedding and it was so much fun. We took ours on honeymoon and it’s pretty temperamental outside. Also, the film is really expensive but I love using it at family events and giving the pics out with cake etc. I think as a teen I would have loved it.

The other option is a sprocket. I know lots of people on here bought them last year and they are supposed to be great. Could you show her sprockets and discuss the cost of film?

If she is really set on an Instax could she ask everyone for film, as a present, for Christmas? Smile

Wtfdidwedo · 18/10/2020 08:55

Aldi is making me want a playroom. Sadly I have no room for the whole set of diner/BBQ/food truck etc Sad

Someaddedsugar · 18/10/2020 09:00

Thanks for the heads up at @Elskerdeg - I'm hoping they have some bargain alcohol versions as some of the branded ones are just so pricey at the moment.

I'm heading to Aldi on Thursday to attempt to hunt out the bits that I couldn't get online - things seemed to sell out so quick this year!

I've haven't found any at a reasonable price. I do one wrapping paper per child.
waitforitwaitforit · 18/10/2020 09:06

Argh. The pink Aldi kitchen is sold out online already.
