@BBwilts Thanks for posting about the Invisible Technology book, I have ordered it for my DS.

EdmundElephantIsACleverClogs · 17/10/2020 10:53

Some of the Aldi toys look lovely, I can't believe the price of them either, such a bargain!

EvilHerbivore · 17/10/2020 10:58

Roblox 2021 is half price (£4) on amazon

Dreamingofwalden · 17/10/2020 10:58

@UselessInDisguise I signed up for The Craft Gin subscription, as a result of this page. It’s so lovely I didn’t cancel my subscription and it helped me survive lockdown Grin. I have reduced my boxes to quarterly. Just to say I preferred Nov’s box to the festive Dec one last year so I would order now.

My mum hates gin but likes vodka. I’m thinking of making my own box for her for her Jan birthday unless anyone knows of a good equivalent subscription box?

Dreamingofwalden · 17/10/2020 11:00

@EdmundElephantIsACleverClogs I think the Aldi toys are good quality too. We have various brands of toy kitchen stuff and Aldi wears better than some of the more expensive ones. Smile

Spam88 · 17/10/2020 11:06

@UselessInDisguise also planning a very wet Christmas this year 🙋‍♀️ planning to breastfeed until DS turns 1 which is a few days before Christmas so he's going to have to get used to a bottle sharpish 😂

lolarabbit · 17/10/2020 11:09

@UselessInDisguise I agree with @Dreamingofwalden in that I preferred the extras in the November box but I guess it's just personal taste. If I've copied the link correctly this takes you to a page on their website where you can see previous boxes.

lolarabbit · 17/10/2020 11:12

My thanks too to @Kittykatmacbill for the Eastpak tip - I've been searching for ages for the perfect backpack for DD and think I've finally found one and at a great price Smile

NoWordForFluffy · 17/10/2020 11:23

I have a £5 off £40 Argos voucher I won't use. PM me if you'd like it (I'm going out soon, so will reply when I get back if I'm not messaged before I go).

Jacopone · 17/10/2020 11:23

I need help. Can anyone advise on paper boxes for popcorn? I vaguely recall therr was a deal/ recommendation some threads ago but cannot find it. Plenty of those on amazon, but which ones are sturdy, pretty etc? Anyone used them before?

GoblinDaughter · 17/10/2020 11:27

@cherryvodka

Cath Kidston handcream gift set for £6.99 makes a great stocking filler or small present still pretty cheap after the whole prime deals thing.

Still looking for a decent fake Oodie as well.

I think the general consensus was the Sienna ones on Amazon were a good alternative. I’m getting one of those as I actually wanted a real one (winter treat for me as terminally freezing once we hit end of Oct) but none of them seem to be shipping until mid/end of December, so will be going for a grey Sienna instead, last time I looked they were around £23.

I’m still looking for a joystick if anyone can help? It doesn’t even need to be bargainous at this point, I just don’t know what I’m doing and can’t find any anywhere 🤞

NoWordForFluffy · 17/10/2020 11:33

My Argos code has gone!

Spamhead421 · 17/10/2020 11:35

Please could I have the Argos voucher code?

Spamhead421 · 17/10/2020 11:36

No problem lol

TheDrsDocMartens · 17/10/2020 11:39

If anyone else has an Argos code I’d like one please.

Louloubaba · 17/10/2020 11:39

H401H5 gets 15% off full price items at The White Company, plus free delivery, when you spend over £50 (easily done!).

shash1982 · 17/10/2020 11:52

smiggle has a flash sale, online only

shash1982 · 17/10/2020 11:56

Also, not bargainous but m&s have recyclable wrapping paper & crackers in store.
It was £2 for a 4 metre roll, bright & cheerful looking.
And, for anyone who collects Disney tree decorations check in the Disney store. They had some collectable ones that are selling on ebay for ridiculous money that were released a couple of years ago.
They also had massive soft toys reduced to half price.

DumplingsAndStew · 17/10/2020 11:57

I have a £5 off £50 code for Argos if anyone needs one.

Salmonpinkcords · 17/10/2020 11:59

Does anyone have a Boden code please?

Oreocrumbs · 17/10/2020 12:00

@TW2013

Fulking Hill, this marvelous map has 20% off if you buy two or more here or single maps reduced from £14.99 to £11.99 on Amazon prime. Am getting it for one of the dc who will delight in looking for Rotten Bottom, Cuppa Water, Letsby Avenue and Fatlips Castle! Not sure their creative writing will ever be the same again. May be inappropriate for younger children.
Thanks for this what a great find! They are now a bit cheaper if you're just wanting 1 on amazon prime. I've just checked out at £10.99
Elskerdeg · 17/10/2020 12:03

@claralane

thanks for the link!
Actually thought I'd be more tempted, and was really hoping they'd have the convertable books....

margaritasbythesea · 17/10/2020 12:07

Argos £5 off £50 for the taking

Jedstre · 17/10/2020 12:15

Thanks for Roblox annual and Adam Kay book recommendations on Amazon. That’s a book each for DS and DD. I’m trying not to buy too much as we are moving house next month but really difficult as I’m normally very organised with present buying. I’ll be looking for a gaming chair for DS (13) if anyone has any recommendations please?

dontdrinkandprime · 17/10/2020 12:17

If anyone is buying from Mountain Warehouse I put some stuff in my basket midweek but didn't checkout. Got an email the next day offering me 10% off and had another email today offering 15% off. Just wondering how much the discount will go up to 😂
