@CoffeeAndEnnui ah I see thanks, as long as I get one in time for Xmas that's ok.

CamdenLurker · 17/10/2020 07:36
@CamdenLurker I’m thinking of getting some sheepsers as my budget can’t stretch to the Celtic and Co sheepskin slippers! What are the Sheepers lined with? I thought Celtic and co were sheepskin lined too but I don’t think sheepers are? Thanks!
They have a wool lining, in the past I had a pair of Ugg slippers which were better but £££. So I'm happy with the sheepers, order direct from sheepers.co.uk and postage is free.

I'm so glad my shopping is mostly done as it is highly likely everything will shut in Wales again next week, including shops like the first lockdown Envy

CamdenLurker · 17/10/2020 07:42

Any Matalan codes around?

Carriemac · 17/10/2020 07:46

Any Argos codes? I need a gazebo so I can meet friends in the garden

Hotel Chocolate Velvetiser bundle is £85 on QVC for today only. Includes Velvetiser, two cups and then 10 mixed hot chocolate sachets and 10 latte sachets. Bundle from Hotel Chocolat would normally be £127.

eastpak rucksacks

At eastpak.com there is an extra 20 percent of sale stuff with code extra20. So I got two backpacks for 40 all together rather than 110.

Chocolatecake12 · 17/10/2020 07:54

virgin experiences 20% off this weekend with WEEKEND20
There is also a Covid policy which seems good.

Raindancer411 · 17/10/2020 07:55

@Carriemac Do you have a nectar card as you can use those points towards Argos purchases if no discount codes?

Kittykatmacbill · 17/10/2020 07:56

Lidl woooden trains @CoffeeAndDryShampoo. It’s been into November for the last 5 years. Keep an eye out for Christmas catalogue it’s announced in there.

UselessInDisguise · 17/10/2020 07:56

Has anyone recieved anything from the craft gin club before? I'm debating an order for me but I wondered to get it now which is a November box or wait for the December one if its extra special

@UselessInDisguise
I got my first craft gin club box in Oct, I was planning on cancelling after the first cheap box but I'm actually keeping the subscription for a while as a gift to me Grin. It was really fab, good selection of snacks and good value even at full price.

Vitamasques 40% off use code FLASH-MRQMW3Q8 orders over £20 great for sheet masks for beauty mad teens or those that take skincare seriously.

Thanks so much for this! I have been after some sheet masks to try for ages and DD1 wants some too so I bought a bundle of 10 for £29.99 and this code took it down to £18 with free shipping! I also got a referral code which may stack with the 40% off, will pop that in the referrals thread.
lexloofah · 17/10/2020 08:25

Adam Kay's new book Kay's Anatomy is down to £7 on Amazon here

I got one on preorder for more than that, v annoying. Anyway it would make a substantial enough gift. I am going to wrap it with a mini skeleton that I got for DD

Someaddedsugar · 17/10/2020 08:28

Can anyone recommend some books for an 8 year old who loves reading and technology?

nov1ce · 17/10/2020 08:41

Thread 13 already! This thread has become part of Xmas, I don't post often but appreciate it, great to see Reastie at the helm again! X

I need help! My DD wants a hover board, including sit and ride option. Any recommendations? What do I need to know and where do I bag a bargain one?!

bettyskitchen · 17/10/2020 08:47

@UselessInDisguise I have a subscription and have bought it as a gift, I’d really recommend it’s a fab treat and worth the money in my opinion. My parents have asked me to continue their subscription for next year as they love it to. You can usually get your first box half price

www.angelalangford.com/natural-skincare-products-for-your-face/38-skincare-sample-pack.html
Free samples here which come in a nice little bag. They do say sample on them so may be only suitable for yourselves! The products are lovely though and tailored for your skin.

IggyAce · 17/10/2020 08:54

@Kracken good to know it’s helped, my DD is sheet mask mad I normally pick them up in home bargains and savers but ordered some from vitamasques as an extra special treat.

Dogmatix34 · 17/10/2020 08:55

Does anyone know if claire's accessories will refund properly? My order was nearly £30 (soooo many hairclips for dd), they've cancelled two thirds of it, but refunded me £1.65. 🤔 🙄

angstyalways · 17/10/2020 09:00

Thank you @Dogmatix34 I've just ordered this for myself
