Does anyone know the code that was floating about for £3 off £15 spend at boots? Or has it finished now? Thanks

angstyalways · 15/10/2020 21:47

I've always bought throws from TKMaxx, both for the family and babies ones, lots of lovely designs and you can obviously see and feel them before buying

gizmosslave · 15/10/2020 21:50

Any discounted weighted blankets? My mum has asked for one. Don't know where to start.

Avoca76 · 15/10/2020 21:50

Thank you @Lovemusic33 ! It was me who asked about kinetic sand.

1AngelicFruitCake · 15/10/2020 22:07

I’m assuming Our Generation dolls don’t usually have discount codes? The best I can see is 10% off when subscribing to their newsletter.

thelegohooverer · 15/10/2020 22:07

Thanks for the toucan code. Can anyone recommend something for older kids? Not necessarily crafts. Actually the main requirement is something that arrives by post Smile

tabbycat985 · 15/10/2020 22:09

@princessbear80 My local Asda had pretty huge ones for £15. I've no idea if that's a bargain or not though😅

Bridecilla · 15/10/2020 22:17

Not Christmassy really (I'd like our grubby sofa to look nicer for Xmas though) but..

Has anyone seen throws big enough to cover a big 3 seater sofa? It's lived through a house renovation and is a bit bruised from it but I've not seen a replacement i like enough to shell out for a new one yet.

It's in the middle of the kitchen diner so no wall to jam a throw behind. I have 2 cheap B&M throws over it but they're a weird soft but shiny material and they keep slipping off.

itsblueisntit · 15/10/2020 22:20

@Dodadoo

Just wondering if anyone has got one of these Fake Oodies and if there any good or not? I'll attach picture
I got this one and had my doubts but it's great. Really fluffy, warm and cosy.
LockdownWaistline · 15/10/2020 22:20

@Bridecilla how about one like this?

LadyCatStark · 15/10/2020 22:21

@gizmosslave onlinehomeshop.com has very reasonable ones. I couldn’t live without mine now 🥰.

Bridecilla · 15/10/2020 22:28

Thanks, but it's a weird scandi shaped 1 like this so I don't think it would fit

caffeineanddryshampoo · 15/10/2020 22:32

Thanks for the the toucan box, going to come in handy for the probable extra long half term.

TheGriffle · 15/10/2020 22:39

@gizmosslave I’ve ordered This one in a 6kg for my nan. Not received it yet so can’t comment on quality.

I also bought a fake Oodie from there for me as working from home now and it gets cold during the day and I refuse to have the heating on all the time.

CoffeeAndEnnui · 15/10/2020 22:46

@thelegohooverer, I absolutely adore the Veronica Dearly stationery subscription boxes but they are best suited for teen girls upwards as they can be a little sweary and have a feminist focus some months. They're a little pricey at £14.99 but you get a tonne of cards, stickers, planners, notebooks etc. and it's all really quirky (in a good way).

Film Stories Junior is a really cool magazine subscription for movie fans from 8-14ish, it's primarily written by young people and readers are encouraged to contribute and become a part of it. It's only a quarterly mag but there's enough content on the website to keep readers entertained between deliveries and idea prompts for their own work. A one-year subscription is £15.

There are some lovely Kawaii subscription boxes around too.

FiddlefigOnTheRoof · 15/10/2020 22:46

@WaitWhatOh try Sandqvist

woodwaj · 15/10/2020 22:47

@UselessInDisguise try XMASQMS3 says you need to be logged in to use it

Lockdownlumpy · 15/10/2020 23:38

I have the teal dreamland heated throw and I think it's fab. It has 6 heat settings, I usually have it on 6 (max) for 10 mins then turn down to 3 because otherwise I'm too hot.

Lockdownlumpy · 15/10/2020 23:41

@coffeeandennui do you know if it is easy to cancel the phoenix after the 4 £1 issues?

thelegohooverer · 15/10/2020 23:47

@CoffeeAndEnnui I think I want Veronica Dearly for me Blush

GymSloth · 15/10/2020 23:50

Bridecilla

Wilkos actually do big throws. The largest is 200cm by 200cm and available in a range of colours.

TheLastStarfighter · 16/10/2020 01:06

@Lockdownlumpy The Phoenix customer service is fantastic, so I don’t think you’d have any problem. It’s an awesome comic. My kids read it as soon as it comes through the door. I’ve even seen them abandon Fortnite in the middle of a match.

CoffeeAndEnnui · 16/10/2020 01:50

@Lockdownlumpy, yes it's super straightforward.

@thelegohooverer, I just this second commented on your bauble thread, how funny! I must confess that I do have a Veronica Dearly subscription of my own. I got a year subscription for a friend and selflessly nothing for me but a couple of months in I cracked and was like...nope, too envious, need all the pretty things for myself too.

It does kind of justify itself in that I've always got spare cards for every occasion and lots of the be mindful/stay sane in a crazy world type contents have been amazing boosts to send friends during this hellscape we are in

Dolphintrainer · 16/10/2020 05:59

20% off a £50 minimum spend at Disney online with code MICKEY20

LikeSilver · 16/10/2020 06:12

Possibly a glitch, but at New Look this morning you can order 3 pairs of jeans and the price drops to £24, and the code TREATREPEAT drops it again a further 20%. I’ve just ordered three pairs of jeans for £16.20 delivered (£2.99 delivery fee).
