@nicky2512

I’ve just thought of a heated throw for Dd. I’m very short of ideas for her - she’s 18 and doesn’t really want much. Would be happy with a big box of hotel chocolat! Which I will buy too. I’ve just seen some in Lakeland. I want decent quality - has anyone bought one of these or can anyone recommend better? Would also love a Lakeland code if there’s any available. Thanks.
I’m the same with my 18yr old. I bought her this rechargeable hot water bottle that has a pocket to pop her hands in to use at work.

And I bought a massage gun through Wowcher. Both have arrived and really good quality. [image removed by MNHQ as it contained identifying information]

That’s good mum. I was worried to order at the time but yay

lexloofah and GazingAndGrazing
Thank you both. I just wanted to know someone could vouch for the Lakeland throw. There’s a nice star print one.
And that’s another couple of great ideas for her so thank you. It was much easier when it was Sylvanians!

I picked up a lovely fur throw in Aldi today. I’m not sure how long they had been there as I’ve been deliberately avoiding looking at the special buys lately, but there were a good few. Plush on one side and really soft fur on the other fur for £35/€39. There are always fights in our house over whose turn it is to have the fur throw (mine obviously!) so a second one is very welcome. I don’t usually get them out until December but I had to have a snuggle under it for a while before I could bring myself to put it away.

thelegohooverer · 15/10/2020 16:50

Faux fur... maybe I should have said that! Blush

Sheepers Sheepskin Slippers 50% off tonight

They're announcing the discount code at 7pm on Instagram and Facebook although their Facebook Group Members (separate to their FB page) will be given the code at 6pm.

I think codes are only going to be live for half an hour at a time. I have a pair of the leopard ones and they're so warm!

Please be really careful with the rechargeable hot water bottles. I had one that set on fire on first use. It wasn't a cheap one and was recommended by charities for the elderly

Your welcome! I have sent the PM. Let me know if you don’t receive it

dramalamma · 15/10/2020 18:12

@CoffeeAndEnnui

Glad the Halloween Toucan Box code went down well. For the sake of fairness to their business, I ought to add that it could be worth continuing with the subscription for a few boxes if you have little crafters in the family to entertain over the autumn and winter months because they are genuinely nice, well thought through kits.

My DD loved getting the boxes when she was younger. At 9 1/2 she's aged out of them but she was over the moon to see her Halloween box (after the spoiler leaflet from school I cracked and showed her the box with her name on, she thinks I'm a magician now!) and talked happily about all the past projects she'd enjoyed.

Could you repeat the Toucan box code? I have some crafters here now off school for the next few weeks!!
chickensoup23 · 15/10/2020 18:26

@Mustangsallyis I have no idea how to send a PM 🤣

JoanneCofton · 15/10/2020 18:39

I'm sure it's been mentioned and I have missed it but the Hotel Chocolat velvetiser is on offer on QVC, £85 (plus p&p), comes in 3 colours and you get 20 sachets with it and 2 little mugs. I have just ordered it on 3 easy payments but you can pay for it in one go

XFPW · 15/10/2020 18:41
