Thread 11 - the one where everyone keeps writing the bargain info *in bold*

Reastie · 07/10/2020 16:22

Just keeping the title similar should anyone have missed the last title and info.

NEW INFO PLZ READ
**please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Shieldingending · 07/10/2020 21:42

Does anyone know how/ where I apply a code for oodie? I can't find where to put it in to reduce the price. Thanks

UselessInDisguise · 07/10/2020 21:43

I've tried the link from uk deals for amazon and I can see the dealbut there is no code 😒

Shitfuckoh · 07/10/2020 21:49

@WithIcePlease
I got the middle one. It has everything needed including trays etc (or so it says, haven't opened it as I think it'll go in the 1st Dec box!)

Twilightstarbright · 07/10/2020 21:53

Thanks for the Rex London recommendation, some great stocking fillers that aren't tat/plastic stuff I know will be chucked out.

makingmiracles · 07/10/2020 21:53

Anyone know of wear to source a nice lap blanket for a female elderly relative? Something traditional, not too in your face, possibly thinking along the lines of grey tartan or something neutral toned. Just for when she’s sat in her chair. If I cant find anything suitable then I’ve also got a heated back pad/cushion idea too as she suffers from back pain.

Picked up two sets of Lego in Tesco today one for dd10 and ds14, there’s also a duplo train at a good price for anyone with tots to buy for.

@WithIcePlease

Yes they keep going down in price & then jumping back up to £10.99.

MyBowelsMatch · 07/10/2020 22:03

@LostMyRubySlippers

Tiny Me have sheets of personalised Christmas/ gift/ books labels on offer for £2 link
@LostMyRubySlippers thanks. I’ve ordered my Christmas labels.
littlestpogo · 07/10/2020 22:04

@WithIcePlease - yes the middle one is the one that goes up and down in price. It’s a kit that also has baking trays in and slightly more ingredients. I think it’s on sale as it’s the old baked in packaging. The top picture is the new packaging for the kit with the tray. The bottom one is just the ingredients ( but still makes very nice cinnamon buns you just need your own tray - a bit less gift like).

That was a lot of info on cinnamon buns Grin

@thelegohooverer I saw some Minecraft pyjamas in Tesco a few days ago. They seemed to be quite lightweight (not fluffy/winter material), long pj bottoms with short sleeved top.
Primark also had a couple of Minecraft pj designs. One was definitely winter style but the other pair was just regular material (like the Tesco ones).
Matalan also had a couple of pairs online.

Not sure how much you want to spend but the Tartan Blanket Company do gorgeous blankets. You can package them into a hamper or they do them individually too.

Puffalicious · 07/10/2020 22:13

makingmiracles I can't see any PJs less than £10-12. Where are those ones onsite?

WineandDine · 07/10/2020 22:14

Ah, not sure what’s going on with that link but here is a better one!
tartanblanketco.com/collections/all-blankets

Rockhopper81 · 07/10/2020 22:17

@Puffalicious - I couldn't see them either initially, then searched for unicorn and they came up. I think they come under BabyGap, even though they theoretically go up to age 5? Sold out in the size I wanted now, and couldn't see any others at a comparable price - some decent savings, but none as good as that one.

ShoppingBasket · 07/10/2020 22:17

@makingmiracles these blankets are soooooo warm and feel so soft. It's one of the favourite things I ever bought myself for night shifts. They look decent too, come in red, grey or mink colour. Not sure of stores in uk but know they deliver. Under £10 too Halo

Scratch that, they are only in store! Anyway good idea for ROI grannies 😂

Annie1290 · 07/10/2020 22:21

I'm still after the goddamn cinnamon buns too Angry

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 07/10/2020 22:28

Did we ever get an answer on kukubird sizing? I'm a 14? Would I need Curve?

villamariavintrapp · 07/10/2020 22:29

@makingmiracles brand alley have bronte by moon blankets which are gorgeous-i love the multi coloured spot ones especially! They're about £40-45 apparently down from over £100. Not sure what your budget is, but they're worth a look anyway.
