Thread 11 - the one where everyone keeps writing the bargain info *in bold*

Reastie · 07/10/2020 16:22

Just keeping the title similar should anyone have missed the last title and info.

NEW INFO PLZ READ
**please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Here’s Barbarara’s instructions from last year on doing clicky links:

Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

@theyips Argos has snowman and the snow dog bedding for £20

Dogmatix34 · 07/10/2020 18:43

Hoping to order the French press. Is there a coupon?

luckiestgirl · 07/10/2020 18:43

@woodwaj Fimo (Oven drying moulding clay) sounds like the best bet for your red ball 4 figures- it would be very simple and easy.

I didn’t think of Argos, seems they do everything now! Thank you 😊

I thought it was Tesco who had a half price toy sale at the moment. It is online anyway, don’t know if it’s also in store.

Lurleene · 07/10/2020 18:53

Thanks for the thread Reastie hope you are ok.

I have just been to TK Maxx and they had these lovely little 15ml bottles of Philosophy Amazing Grace perfume for 3.99. I believe the original RRP is 18.00. They had lots of different varieties of the scent and they would be great for stocking fillers or a chance to try the perfume at a bargain price as the big bottles aren't cheap.

@TheDrsDocMartens the stuff looks lovely and I collected a basketful but the postage came to over £11! Not sure where I went wrong but didn’t go ahead with buying it sadly

Aponcetasticchristmastoall · 07/10/2020 18:57

Ooo would anyone mind passing a referral link over to me for Cox & Cox please, I’ve used their discount for the last few years and I’ve been really happy with the nice bits I’ve been able to get.

woodwaj · 07/10/2020 18:57

@luckiestgirl thanks. Have you used it. If he drops it (likely) will it break? Although I could ask the same for 3d printing!

Ness1234 · 07/10/2020 19:02

15% off at Celtic and Co* with code CL15. It expires on the 18th of October.

Puffalicious · 07/10/2020 19:05

Dogmatix I originally recommended the french press as a PP had asked for ideas for a good one. There was no coupon I know of but I do think a PP mentioned a coupon.

unkindnessofravens · 07/10/2020 19:08

nicky2512 · 07/10/2020 19:16

@Carrie76 Brilliant thank you. That’s the one I think I will go for. He’s 6 feet tall and I was just a bit worried about making a mistake. Always feel better when someone has actually seen it! Will order tonight. Price is hopefully as good as it will be. Thanks.

4Minions2CallMyOwn · 07/10/2020 19:21

Usually £21.95 with 20% discount code applicable but currently a lightening deal down to £15.29 but with 20% discount is £10.90! Reviews are excellent and have bought as a xmas (messy) activity for the kids

chickensoup23 · 07/10/2020 19:38

Wow these threads move so quick your all on fire!

luckiestgirl · 07/10/2020 19:47

@woodwaj yes I make my kids little figures often, from random YouTube characters or TV characters that were never made in toy form. If they have external arms etc then yes, they break off when dropped. But you can just make the figures without external pieces and they are very robust.

littlestpogo · 07/10/2020 19:48

Hello everyone

Just wondering has anyone seen a better code that 15% off for Boden ( me eldest put the washing on for me to try and help and his brothers new pyjamas were in - let’s just say they are rather tight now 😫)?

Puffalicious · 07/10/2020 19:49

Oh I know what you mean Dogmatix!

It is a good price and really, really worth the money, my DH raves about it.
