Thread 11 - the one where everyone keeps writing the bargain info *in bold*

Reastie · 07/10/2020 16:22

Just keeping the title similar should anyone have missed the last title and info.

NEW INFO PLZ READ
**please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

Can anyone recommend a play-doh set please? Even better if it’s a bargain!

DD has got some little tubs and cutters already that she plays with a lot but has asked for a structured set.

JinglesWish · 10/10/2020 16:10

@FoxBadger yes, H&M do discounts quite frequently. Joint their member scheme

4Minions2CallMyOwn · 10/10/2020 16:10

@Trytowin20 @ZIGGY911 Just got home from B&M. They didn’t have any of your letters, only a V and Z sack and no stockings at all. Which is crazy because when I went on Wednesday there were absolutely loads and I managed to get all our letters! Anyway I’m sorry and all the best finding what you both need Smile

JinglesWish · 10/10/2020 16:12

@PinkJam there’s a great playdoh ice cream set from Argos. I picked it up for £8 (down from £17 I think). Long box 1m of full size playdoh was £9.99 at Home Bargains

The playdoh “kitchenaid” is good and loved by my girls and regularly goes on offer

WithIcePlease · 10/10/2020 16:25

@fourquenelles
Thanks for posting re knock off oodie- that's the brand that I ordered for DD. She's 5'2 and 7 stone so should fit a treat!

bigchanges1 · 10/10/2020 16:27

I’m looking to buy an iPhone 11 - 256gb sim free and a PS5. Both very spendy purchases, but well deserved. Does anyone know the best deals around please?

ZIGGY911 · 10/10/2020 16:42
**@Trytowin20* @WisestIsShe* My B&M had F stockings. Reader, I bought one! Need to keep returning in the hopes of finding a D!

Whisky lovers, there's usually a sot of lucky dip good bottle in a Black Friday deals - can't remember if it's master of malt or the whiskey shop. Will try to find out....
Do you still need a D. Happy to post to you if you do.

Allmyarseandpeggymartin · 10/10/2020 16:42

Thanks so much for looking. Hopefully one will turn up, if not I have a few spare letters to return x

AmIReallyThough · 10/10/2020 16:57

Lots of the £6 sacks and some stockings in B&M Cheadle Stockport. Saw most letters in the sacks, not as many in the smaller stockings

AmIReallyThough · 10/10/2020 17:07

ZIGGY911 they definitely had the S sack in Cheadle Stockport. Sorry, would have grabbed and posted had I known (just looked back to see what your letter was). I knew someone wanted an F but no F there. Will look again next time I’m there unless you happen to be nearby?

ShandlersWig · 10/10/2020 17:08

Does anyone know if Sainsbury's will be doing double up on Necter points this year? After 6 months of online shopping with them I have a tidy sum. But would like to make the most of them in a double up!

NoWordForFluffy · 10/10/2020 17:12

@ShandlersWig, I'm optimistic it will, given that the toy sale is going ahead, and I'd imagine the latter brings in more extra customers than the former, as not everyone gets involved in Double Up!

You can only double up £50 (to make £100) per card. As both DH and I have - linked - cards we can double up £100 (but they have to be spent separately).

BuffyFairy · 10/10/2020 17:20

The Entertainer are doing a price match on 2000 toys between now and Christmas. If they lower the price since purchased you’ll get the difference on an e-gift card.

Valid products have an asterisk on the receipt and you will need to register them [[https://www.thetoyshop.com/lowest-price-guarantee-terms here]]

Worth doing just in case!

NoWordForFluffy · 10/10/2020 17:28

The Handmade Christmas Co. has 15% off with LAUNCH15.

@JinglesWish thank you! Now I can relax and wait for next offer then as I just don’t have time today to decide which of the million pairs of leggings my dd needs 🤣

Someaddedsugar · 10/10/2020 17:37

I don't suppose anyone know where I can get some wicker hampers - fortnum and mason style - without spending a fortune?
