Thread 11 - the one where everyone keeps writing the bargain info *in bold*

Reastie · 07/10/2020 16:22

Just keeping the title similar should anyone have missed the last title and info.

NEW INFO PLZ READ
**please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

I’ve just done my Sainsbury’s online shop for delivery on Friday and I could add some of the toy which I assume are in their toy sale this week. I got some Lego but they had other reductions too.

JaneyJimplin · 10/10/2020 13:05

VaprousDropProfound · 10/10/2020 13:08

@Trytowin20

Hi, I usually lurk as I don't find the deals quick enough to share but has anyone seen the B and M Christmas initial sacks with an 'F' ? *@ZIGGY911* I'm pretty sure mine had an S stocking but I went a few days ago 😞. Happy to look next time I'm in though.
ziggy911 they have S stockings in my local B & M, in fact that is the only initial they had. I knew someone was after an S but though it was for a sack until I saw trytowin’s message. Happy to buy and post to you if that would bring you any sort of festive cheer....
TildaTurnip · 10/10/2020 13:12
@TildaTurnip Dane her and småfolk go by cm measurement because that's what we use in Denmark. So go by how tall your child is and then they spand between 2 cm sizes. Dd age 4 is 100 cm and uses 98-104. Its "made" for Danes who tend to be quite tall built. Hope it helps.
The quality is great I think.
Thank you and @BadgerFace. Normally he wears 116cm in Duns etc but I’m wondering if sensible to go 7-8 as 5-6 would be too small in tops. Ideally, I’d want 6-7 which isn’t helpful!

Dinomum2 · 10/10/2020 13:26

Has anyone seen the B&M sacks in a W? I'm starting to wonder if they have made all of the letters.

Allmyarseandpeggymartin · 10/10/2020 13:31

Anyone got a code for the Works? For once there’s not one on their website

MrsBhappyface · 10/10/2020 13:35

Hype have a sale on at the minute. Also if you download the app you get 15% off your first purchase.

IToldYouIWasFreaky · 10/10/2020 13:39

If anyone has bought from Hype before, check your email for a voucher. I got one for £3.49 which works on sales items, so I managed to get DS a pair of sliders, some shorts and a free face mask for about £12 delivered. Happy days!
They have some good reductions even if you don't have a voucher, and the free gift is either a mask or one of those pokey devices you attach to your keyring and use for pressing buttons etc.
Hype sale

Mindblank · 10/10/2020 14:44

I know this was a few threads ago, but I’m finally getting round to ordering the personalised £ 5 T-shirts from Rocket & Rose. Does anyone know what the sizes are like? The options are 3-4 years, and 5-6. Typically, I could really do with 4-5 or 6-7.
Am I better sizing up or down, does anyone know?

sorryiasked · 10/10/2020 14:45

There was an Irish mnetter looking for a cross stitch kit? The works have this one for £7 / 2 for £10 item.
Sorry no idea if this is any use for Ireland

sorryiasked · 10/10/2020 14:47

@Mindblank size guide here (but I always size up to get more wear out of them)

mcgonagalscat · 10/10/2020 14:49

@ScoobySnacker

I am looking for a nice set of oven gloves for DD14. Nothing shouting at me from Next, Lakeland etc. Any recommendations for something different? Something cute with animals or similar.

It’s personalised t-shirts for £5. They look really cute, but I’m still not sure on sizes! They look like they run quite large, so I’ve gambled slightly on the sizes
