Thread 11 - the one where everyone keeps writing the bargain info *in bold*

999 replies

Reastie · 07/10/2020 16:22

Just keeping the title similar should anyone have missed the last title and info.

NEW INFO PLZ READ
**please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

@Brogues I got the 1L version a few weeks ago for £13.20 on amazon, the Bodum website at the time had them at a similar price so they may come down again, they are gorgeous and will look great if you are making up a coffee hamper

mumontherun14 · 10/10/2020 10:13

Just a quick one on the Oodies. I ordered one yesterday & a lot of the styles are not shipping till 15th Dec with 2-4 days delivery. Just in case people are holding off they look like they are really popular & might soon go to after Xmas delivery x

gavisconismyfriend · 10/10/2020 10:14

@Trytowin20 @WisestIsShe My B&M had F stockings. Reader, I bought one! Need to keep returning in the hopes of finding a D!

Whisky lovers, there's usually a sot of lucky dip good bottle in a Black Friday deals - can't remember if it's master of malt or the whiskey shop. Will try to find out....

ZIGGY911 · 10/10/2020 10:34

I have 3 D's stockings (I kept forgetting in every store I went in what I had so bought what I saw!) let me know if you want one and I'll post to you .

ZIGGY911 · 10/10/2020 10:35

@Trytowin20

Hi, I usually lurk as I don't find the deals quick enough to share but has anyone seen the B and M Christmas initial sacks with an 'F' ? *@ZIGGY911* I'm pretty sure mine had an S stocking but I went a few days ago 😞. Happy to look next time I'm in though.
Yes please if you see it. I'll look for your letters too as I keep popping in hoping someone returns an S
4Minions2CallMyOwn · 10/10/2020 10:40

Morning. I’m going to B&M later today so will have a look for an S and F socking. If I find them happy to buy and post, will let you know Smile

ScoobySnacker · 10/10/2020 10:49

I am looking for a nice set of oven gloves for DD14. Nothing shouting at me from Next, Lakeland etc. Any recommendations for something different? Something cute with animals or similar.

Riddikulusness · 10/10/2020 10:50

@Penguinbeaver

Quick buns
I’m not convinced people aren’t having a laugh with this now! 🤣
Carrie76 · 10/10/2020 10:53

Good few things in my Tesco, hot wheels car transporter was about €15 I think. They also had a Steffi jeep towing a horse box with horse included for €22

IggyAce · 10/10/2020 10:56

Cocoa Loco code DELICHRIS20 free shipping on orders over £10

Wtfdidwedo · 10/10/2020 11:01

My KukuBird leggings came today after ordering them Thursday morning and I love them! I'm currently working from home on alternate weeks so wanted to buy a couple of pairs; I only had PJs, jeans and work trousers but nothing that's both comfy and acceptable for the postman Grin I'm a size 8 and they fit me fine, although a bit long for my short legs.

BadgerFace · 10/10/2020 11:03

@TildaTurnip I think that Smafolk is very true to size. I bought DD aged 4-5 just before turned 4 and they are also marked in the label as 104 - 110cm. She is about 110cm now and the tops still fit. The dresses are about mid-thigh now but still wearable with tights. DD is quite tall for her age so I think the CM are best to go by!

BunnyBerries · 10/10/2020 11:03

@ScoobySnacker
Ulster Weavers have lots of lovely oven gloves! The only ones I've used for years

XFPW · 10/10/2020 11:08

I was just about to post about Ulster Weavers, but @BunnyBerries got in first - I’ll definitely second the suggestion though - lovely designs and very good quality.

LyraSilvertongueBelacqua · 10/10/2020 11:10

@DarkHumour I have had that message too! Have you been able to contact them? My first live chat wasn't successful. Now I am in a queue again.

Can you recall the JL issue?

Seems strange it was dispatched and Royal Mail had it, but then there was a problem and it's been sent back.

ScoobySnacker · 10/10/2020 11:12

They are exactly what I was looking for @BunnyBerries and @XFPW thank you

BlackCat04 · 10/10/2020 11:18

Dolce Gusto coffee machines on offer at Curry's heree* some are £50/£60 off Smile

BunnyBerries · 10/10/2020 11:19

@LyraSilvertongueBelacqua
@DarkHumour

Yes I had that message with Royal Mail, JL told me thousands of people were getting the message from RM but your items should still arrive within the timeframe stated when you ordered and if not, contact them. Sure enough my items arrived a couple of days after the message.

DarkHumour · 10/10/2020 11:21

@LyraSilvertongueBelacqua Haven’t managed to contact them. It’s really strange, as I received a return to sender email for both orders. I could understand it if one parcel was damaged....

I think a lot of posters had bought Lego from JL on offer and received similar emails. I think someone from RM had literally pressed the wrong button and lots of these automated emails were sent out, but the parcels hadn’t been returned and were still on their way.

DarkHumour · 10/10/2020 11:22

@BunnyBerries thank you! Fingers crossed.
