NEW INFO PLZ READ
**please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

Post should have said keep SEEING dachshund stuff all over the place

Duckyneedsaclean · 04/10/2020 01:23

Glad the mastercard offer has been so useful!

As a by the by, I couldn't see my credit on my account but it applied automatically when I bought something over £10 (so £6 Chivas set for dad Wink)

STARE2016 · 04/10/2020 01:50

@BeaLola I will have a look at Joules, thank you! Stationery would be lovely too if you do remember, she's at that tricky age where she doesn't 'play' but isn't old enough for make up etc so I'm running with the dachshund idea! I have bought some reindeer antlers for the actual dog so that should make her smile too!

On that note, there are some cheap Xmas bits for pets here viovet

buckeejit · 04/10/2020 02:54

@GarlicSoup WELCOMEPEN gets £15 off a £60 spend at pengaligons

Search for unboxed for good discounts & there may have been another discount but I can't find it easily

SweetPeaPods · 04/10/2020 05:20

Just a note on the flavourly beer advent offer mentioned up thread. I couldn't see the reduced price on their website but if you go to their fb page there is a link to it.

thelegohooverer · 04/10/2020 05:40

@GarlicSoup PENCANDLEGIFT was the other code, for a free candle when you spend over £60, but neither code seems to be working now.

purplepandas · 04/10/2020 07:01

Thank you @JinglesWish and @ScarlettDarling for the onesie recommendations. Smile

BestofLuck · 04/10/2020 07:33

@Cloud1921 what a lovely thing to do.

There are always some good Lego sets knocking around for that price which might good. Always nice to buy a “doing” kind of gift I think - something they can keep coming back to. Maybe the 11 yo would like a sports set or something to do - I got a rounders set for £6 in Sainsbury’s - or a nice top or something you could find in a sale to bring down to £10.

Duckyneedsaclean · 04/10/2020 07:33

Hawkin's Bazaar had last years prefilled stocking down from £25 to £15 oniy the girls 8+ annoyingly.

LyraSilvertongueBelacqua · 04/10/2020 07:36

@UselessInDisguise I feel the same. The things I am looking for have no codes or bargains to be bad; but they are in stock. Do I buy so I know I'm sorted, or do I wait and hope there's a code and they stay in stock? Such a gamble!

Glenthebattleostrich · 04/10/2020 07:57

early learning centre discount codes ending today

Can anyone remember the convertible books that turn into different vehicles (submarine, bus, tractor etc)?? I'm after the bus but don't fancy paying full price as reviews are very mixed. Did they go on offer anywhere last year? Thank you

unkindnessofravens · 04/10/2020 08:07

@PinkDaydreams I've picked these up in Lidl before, for no more than a tenner IIRC. Might be worth keeping an eye out if you have one nearby

PinkDaydreams · 04/10/2020 08:07

@Cloud1921 such a warm thing to do, may I ask please how you found out about this? Really made me think about how much pressure there is with Christmas and that not everyone can afford big budgets. I think this year has been an eye opener in that it's the memories and spending time with each other that's important.
I've really cut back on my spending. I've seen so many things on here that i would normally buy but like others I'm trying to purchase gifts that are wanted/useful rather than filler gifts. A pp also said the same a few days ago and I can really relate.
Last year my favourite presents gifted to me were a packet of face masks and a box of twinings tea bags! I know they don't seem that special but I never treat myself to things like this as I feel guilty.
Anyway, I'll shut up waffling!! Grin

PinkDaydreams · 04/10/2020 08:08

@unkindnessofravens thank you! I'd never have thought of Lidl Smile

Hawkin's stocking

I just disappeared into a Hawkins Bazaar rabbit hole! Some great stuff on those site. Delivery charge is steep though. Anyone know a way around it?
thebrightestcoloursfillmyhead · 04/10/2020 08:22

@PinkDaydreams try TK Maxx for a convertible book. I found a submarine one for DS in their clearance section a few weeks ago. Think it was £3.99.

Fueledwithfairydustandgin · 04/10/2020 08:23

@PinkDaydreams we’re doing a similar scheme through feeding families. Just in case anyone’s local food bank doesn’t run this scheme. Ours don’t accept hampers for specific families. They just ask for festive food donations but I like the idea of supporting one family.

Shitfuckoh · 04/10/2020 08:27

Aldi had some last year, they didn't have the one I wanted unfortunately but I did manage to find it (the bus one) in Tk Maxx.
MrsJamTart · 04/10/2020 08:38

Hi can anyone recommend a sample coffee beans set if you know what I mean?
My husband has started to drink coffee and I don’t want to buy big bags of beans for him not to like them. Anybody got any suggestions?

Lurleene · 04/10/2020 08:49

@STARE2016 This Make your own sausage dog set from Boots might be a cute stocking filler? Currently out of stock online but more are due in.

PinkDaydreams · 04/10/2020 08:49

I'll get hunting

PinkDaydreams · 04/10/2020 08:50

In tk maxx and Aldi, thank you!

I'll check out feeding families as well, thank you Smile

sorryiasked · 04/10/2020 08:51

@nocutsnobuttsnococonuts could you possibly post a link to the kukubird offer? I can't see anything like it on their site, even tried adding 2 pairs of Alice leggings to my basket and that didn't work. And I went back to the original post on Thread 3 but couldn't see a link there either Sad

This lovely independent shop local to me has Spode Christmas items on sale up to 35% off. I’ve just purchased these lovely mugs for our Christmas Eve box. Cheaper than the Spode and free shipping over £50. They also stock Emma Bridgwater at reasonable prices.
