NEW INFO PLZ READ
**please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Festive lurker here... 🤶

Saw this on HUKD and thought it might be of use for stocking fillers. I imagine it’s national not just Weymouth.

Half price large selection boxes just £1.50 in Tesco Express

www.hotukdeals.com/deals/half-price-large-selection-boxes-eg-galaxy-christmas-collection-244g-malteser-freinds-ps150-at-tesco-express-weymouth-3555010

I’ve bought them for the last two years and they’re the large ones so they’re good value for what you get. I even did a thing last year where I used the contents to make my own selection box in a shoebox, which went down well. Hope it helps someone!

@MrsJamTart

Origins do smaller starter bags. I can vouch for their delivery as have bought them for gifts before

Whittards I think do but I'm sure it was in store that I saw them.

Any independent coffee shops might also sell smaller bean bags. That is how I found out about Origins as they supply to our little local place

FrolickingLemon · 04/10/2020 09:09

@MrsJamTart Aldi have coffee beans in the middle aisle / Christmas stuff at the moment. 2 types - crema and Espresso. They were at a guess maybe 250g bags. At £1.49 a bag I think they would be worth a punt.

angstyalways · 04/10/2020 09:15

@Jacopone we'll have to put them in our windows.. it can be the new Mumsnet scarf or crow Grin

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 04/10/2020 09:21

@sorryiasked heres all the current 2 for £5 kukubird leggings. The code is at the top. You can only buy one set if 2 per order, but p&p is only £1.99. Still a great price even if making multiple orders!! www.kukubird.com/collections/exotic-secret-garden

Brogues · 04/10/2020 09:26

@sorryiasked it’s under exotic secret garden. I could only see wonderland leggings in there though rather than Alice ones.

Ooh Christmas Monopoly that’s a good idea.

Does anyone know of any codes for hobbycraft at all please? Would come in so handy! Thanks x

Serenity25 · 04/10/2020 09:37

@kerosene20 if you sign up for their club you can get 15% off.
Or I can send you a student code, but its only 10% off.

UselessInDisguise · 04/10/2020 09:38

What are the kukubird leggings like? Do they fit well? Are they really aimed at teens/young or are they comfy to lounge about in?

sorryiasked · 04/10/2020 09:49

Thank you nocutts and brogues.

cymrumam · 04/10/2020 09:53

It's probably obvious but how do you choose the size on the kukubird leggings please. On the header it says 8 - 12 or 14-18 but I can't find an option to choose the size. What am I doing wrong thanks

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 04/10/2020 09:53

@uselessindisguise I'm 32, size 10/12 and wear them daily. They are really comfy and not see through! I work in a preschool so wear to work too! On cold days I wear a fleecy pair of leggings or tights underneath. My dd is 11 and wears ladies size 6 and she wears them comfortably too!

Shame about the Alice ones they must have sold out! There's some eat me drink me ones I quite like!!

Highly recommend joining their Facebook group, kukubird fanclub, its so friendly and its where they put all the offers and people post pictures of them in the leggings 😁

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 04/10/2020 09:54

@cymruman the 14-18 leggings are labelled curve. They sell out fast in the offer section though!

Boots Macmillan 24 days beauty advent calendar half price for £42

www.boots.com/macmillan-24-days-of-beauty-advent-calendar-10282229?cm_mmc=bmm-buk-google-ppc--PLAs--(GB:Whoop!)+Mixed+Gcb-_-(GB:Whoop!)+Boots+Shopping+-+All+Other+Products+-+Mobile&gclid=Cj0KCQjw5eX7BRDQARIsAMhYLP-zjPpANjjRJJMoaXYStcXulfOyP8V_YsSuHWoZv-ogcUt23UMDBmgaApW4EALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds

It was £85. It mainly has boots brands and some Liz Earle. Apparently M&S aren't doing their usual calendar this year, so it might be a good one if you are looking for a beauty calendar at the cheaper end of the market.

cymrumam · 04/10/2020 10:02

Thanks @nocutsnobuttsnococonuts.

UselessInDisguise · 04/10/2020 10:03

@nobuttsnococonuts thanks I will have a look 🙂 I'm a size 12-14 ish depending on the shop (h&m I am declared a small hippo) so have no idea what to order 😬

Smileatthesmallthings · 04/10/2020 10:07

Brilliant thanks have signed up!

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 04/10/2020 10:13

@uselessindisguise if it helps I am also considered a hippo in h&m I dont even buy bottoms in there as I'm v pair shaped. In jeans I do need a 14 in some shops! If its for lounging they also sell loungewear which are v v comfy and I wear as pjs. They are looser fit but have pull strings on the side to adjust leg length.

Honestly I don't work for them! But they are such an amazing company I recommend them to anyone who will listen, amazing products, v helpful and quick service!

I was just looking at the Xmas Monopoly (which I didn't know existed and now really want) and noticed IWOOT also sell a horses and ponies monopoly - it might be good for the person looking for horse related gifts. Sorry I can't remember who that was. https://www.iwantoneofthose.com/toys-games/monopoly-board-game-horses-and-ponies-edition/11433007.html]
