Thread 10 - the one where everyone starts writing the bargain info *in bold*

Reastie · 03/10/2020 12:04

NEW INFO PLZ READ
**please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Here’s Barbarara’s instructions from last year on doing clicky links:

Open double square brackets

Paste link
Space
Name of link
No space
Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

@Sunshineskies I got Molten Brown handcreams 4 different tubes for £16 from QVC using a referral code. Ordered Thursday arrived Monday, so might make it for Friday if you order now. PM me if you want referral code or there are loads on the referral thread.

@Sweetpea84 my DS 4 doesn’t have this but loves playing with it at his cousins:

@Merriwicks how about a milk frother? I bought DH one for Christmas and we make lovely milky coffees like a latte or frothy cappuccinos

Thanks for the sweatshirts, I've got a couple of avengers ones on order, there was so many to chose from! Going to have one happy boy with those

Merriwicks · 06/10/2020 20:47

@lambkin wow thanks, sounds great and really good value. I was expecting a couple of 100 at least. Thanks

PinkDaydreams · 06/10/2020 20:53

@Merriwicks that milk frother from John Lewis is fab! I was on the last thread (or the one before, they're moving so fast now!) racing about it. It did get reduced to £20 from John Lewis last year in around November time so might be worth waiting.

PinkDaydreams · 06/10/2020 20:53

Raving about it not racing!

XFPW · 06/10/2020 21:02

Anthropologie have an up to 50% sale on just now, and there is also a 10% off code WELCOME10 which can be used on all items including sale items.

Worth searching through for hidden gems. I got a top for work reduced from £45 to £9.90 and a bunch of stocking fillers for DC inc a mint green (her favourite colour) charging cable for DD - £23 down to £10.80

Fueledwithfairydustandgin · 06/10/2020 21:03

Only on this thread could I swing between being outraged over a coffee deal increasing in price by a couple of pounds and debating the best way to tell DH that we need to pay over £300 to visit Lapland UK Confused

Hedgyhoggy · 06/10/2020 21:05

Has anyone spotted any discounted cashmere men’s jumpers?? I’m not used to spending that much on a jumper 😬

NeedMoreTea · 06/10/2020 21:07

I bought that milk frother for Xmas last year, for the kids to make frothy hot chocolates. The price dropped to £19 in a Black Friday week offer.
I use it more than the kids do, making lovely lattes. It's simple to use and easy to clean.

sorryiasked · 06/10/2020 21:12

seasalt have some lovely looking hot chocolate marshmallow melts in milk, dark and orange. not very bargainous but 3 for 2 (includes other choc too).
General sale stuff has an additional 20% off till tomorrow enough.

Purpleheadgirl · 06/10/2020 21:12

Does anyone know anything about 3d printers.......is there a cheap one.....is there a good one....and can they be the same one please? :)

TheSeedsOfADream · 06/10/2020 21:14

@Puffalicious Grin I am actually looking for YA fantasy for DD so did make a note if the ones she's not read! I opted for slow-but-free delivery too for the French Press so will apparently get £1 off my next Amazon order. Every little helps!

TheSeedsOfADream · 06/10/2020 21:15

@Hedgyhoggy, Lands End had cashmere in their end of season sale, but I have a feeling it might have ended now, maybe they keep a clearance section? Most stuff was 60-70% off on Sunday.

Martinisarebetterdirty · 06/10/2020 21:19

@Hedgyhoggy landsend have 40% off their full priced stock and they have men’s cashmere jumpers. Alternatively Uniqlo do decent prices cashmere too.

Martinisarebetterdirty · 06/10/2020 21:20

Sorry x-post with @TheSeedsOfADream Blush

TheSeedsOfADream · 06/10/2020 21:22

Homgeek is the name of the French press (someone asked but I can't remember the name sorry) it's £24.99 but there's a coupon. I can't link because the Amazon app shows my address. Not that I don't trust you all after all these threads Grin

TheSeedsOfADream · 06/10/2020 21:25

Great minds @Martinisarebetterdirty. Grin

Rockhopper81 · 06/10/2020 21:37

@IveBeenGood

I bought this for my nephew for his 10th birthday last year (currently £19.99) - not coding per se, but game design. It does require a tablet though - does your nephew have one? It kept him interested for a while at least!

Not sure if it's suitable for what you're looking for, but thought I'd mention it anyway. Smile

Purpleheadgirl · 06/10/2020 21:38

Lottie Queen of the Castle doll is in amazon lightening deal starting 9:15 tomorrow

Clevererthanyou · 06/10/2020 21:40

@IggyAce - You're a top notch spiffing old chap. I've been clueless about what to get for DMIL for Christmas and Dibor had French chic kitchenware that she will go mad for. For you Brew
