Thread 10 - the one where everyone starts writing the bargain info *in bold*

Reastie · 03/10/2020 12:04

NEW INFO PLZ READ
**please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Name of link

Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

Did anyone else notice a referral for £5 when they placed their kukubird order? I've just done my order and put the referral code on the other thread, it would be interesting to see if you can use it on the 2 for £5 deal and get the leggings for free

STARE2016 · 04/10/2020 23:33

@angstyalways I did! Sent it to my mum hoping for the same thing, but when I (she!) went to use it, it says there's a minimum £25 spend. It would have been a real bargain if it had worked!

Piedpiper4 · 04/10/2020 23:34

Muddlewitch thankyou

angstyalways · 04/10/2020 23:35

Ahh bugger, it's a shame because they don't seem to stock much other stuff, oh well someone may use if they have that much they want to buy, they could get 10 pairs of leggings for £20!

thaegumathteth · 04/10/2020 23:53

@shash1982 someone posted this code for 20% off paper chase up thread but it doesn't work for me but might be worth a try?

Perhaps not xmas gift as such but holly hansen sale at brand Alley

sorryiasked · 05/10/2020 06:42

HELLY hansen sodding autocorrect

lifelongfrugaleer · 05/10/2020 06:54

Thank you @Muddlewitch for posting the link to kukubird. I apologise for failing in my duties there. Grin

UselessInDisguise · 05/10/2020 07:16

I've just got up and am back at looking at those bloody leggings 😂. I think it's the pale background colour on most of them that is stopping me purchase them. I think I will just end up looking like a pair of painted sausages. I don't have the slimmest legs!

WhentheDealGoesDown1 · 05/10/2020 07:18

Not sure if it has been posted but £20 off £120 spend at John Lewis code need to sign up to My John Lewis if not already.

20OFF120

I bought a nice new shiny Christmas tree.

riffleraffle · 05/10/2020 07:20

Are the kukubird leggings still on 2for£5? I can’t find an active discount code or see any mention of it on the website.

Christmascaker · 05/10/2020 07:27

Groupon appear to have good deals on photo products, blanket, calendars etc. It’s through printerpix just wondering if anyone had used them before?

Groupon

Dovesandkisses · 05/10/2020 07:31

@riffleraffle go to the secrets section. I ordered two pairs last night. Figured even if I just wear them at home instead of pjs that would be a plus. Didn't have much in the curvy section though. They have so many cool pairs in the regular. I'm now inspired to carry on the 5:2 😅

riffleraffle · 05/10/2020 07:36

@Dovesandkisses thank you so much. Now have it working. Chances are they’ll be for wearing in the house but they look great. Good luck with the 5:2!

shash1982 · 05/10/2020 07:37

Thank you thaegumSmile

WithIcePlease · 05/10/2020 07:45

@Dovesandkisses @riffleraffle
I've put exotic ones in my cart but code not working. How do I find the secrets section? There's a banner at the top saying exotic secrets 2 for £5 which is why I looked at exotic ones
Where am I going wrong?

PinkDaydreams · 05/10/2020 07:50

How much is the delivery please for the leggings? I'm considering getting them for around the house during lockdown

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 05/10/2020 07:52

For all those unsure on the kukubirds, take a chance they really are fab and a bit of colour on a drizzly day makes it much better!! If you arent confident wearing on their own ive seen people on the facebook group wearing them under ripped jeans which looks great!! Today I have my unicorn cats on ready for work 😁

And those asking about the referral code, they do lots of other lovely items, and the mystery box are great value if you like a surprise and you would get £5 off of that!

KillZill · 05/10/2020 07:58

Another Jaques recommendation here for an alphabet puzzle.
I think it did go cheaper last year with the deal we picked up, but I bought this as a gift but ended up keeping it for DTs as it is such good quality and hard wearing against toddlers. It's well worth this price in IMO Until a piece is missing and it is the end of the world.

JinglesWish · 05/10/2020 08:00

20% of John Lewis womenswear if you book a virtual personal styling appointment. Use the code MYJLSTYLIST

You book to have a video call with a personal shopper. After your appointment they send you a 20% off code to use online. Need to book appointment before 31 October.

SayNoToCarrots · 05/10/2020 08:09

Good luck @Dovesandkisses, i'm four months in and 2st down. It really works as long as you don't go crazy on the other days 😂

IceCreamAndCandyfloss · 05/10/2020 08:11

How do you pick the size on the Kuku leggings? I can’t see to find an option but want the smaller size out of the two.

TakeMeToYourLiar · 05/10/2020 08:14

Ooh thanks. Need something like this

Top tip of it helps. Get the massive sandwich bags from Ikea. You can use those to keep all the pieces together😊☹️

@WhentheDealGoesDown1

Thank you! Just used that John Lewis code & got 3 x Advents for the DC (damn Lego/character advents!) and 3 vehicles that I know will be my on youngests list. I'd have bought all of those at some point anyway but you just saved me £20 Smile OR another way to look at it, you just got me a free Lego advent! Grin
