Thread 10 - the one where everyone starts writing the bargain info *in bold*

Reastie · 03/10/2020 12:04

NEW INFO PLZ READ
**please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Here’s Barbarara’s instructions from last year on doing clicky links:

Open double square brackets
No space
Paste link
Space
Name of link
No space
Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

Printerpix are quite poor, IMO. Wowcher had a Colorland deal and they're far superior (we're on our third year of using them; would never go back to Printerpix.

Penguinbeaver · 05/10/2020 08:24

20% off at The Great Little Trading Co. until tonight. No code needed

VividImagination · 05/10/2020 08:35

@Dovesandkisses what age do you think for the blocks. Dh has 2 little great grandsons, both almost a year old. Would these be suitable. I’m out of touch!

Thank you! I’ll give them a go. Reviews are very mixed and I never quite trust them Hmm

These aren't on offer but these beeswax wraps have designs by Emma Bridgewater which might make a stylish eco friendly present. Just make sure you aren't giving them to a vegan though :)

riffleraffle · 05/10/2020 08:55

@WithIcePlease once you have 2 pairs in your basket and checking out use secrets2 for the discount code

Spam88 · 05/10/2020 09:12

@VividImagination I have an almost 10 month old and think around a year is probably ideal for the blocks.

recklessgran · 05/10/2020 09:14

@shash82 I've just pm'd you a 25% off code for Paperchase.

Dovesandkisses · 05/10/2020 09:15

@sayNoToCarrots thank you 🙂 That is amazing. Well done you!

@WithIcePlease have you found it? It is in the exotic secrets section and you put secrets2 in the promotions box. Delivery is £1.99. Really excited to get them!

Dovesandkisses · 05/10/2020 09:16

@VividImagination I would say that was the perfect age. Old enough to explore and start to experiment with stacking.

ClaraTheImpossibleGirl · 05/10/2020 09:21

Living Social (like Groupon, for anyone who hasn't used them) are doing an extra thick snuggle blanket for £14 + £3.99 delivery - there's some kids options too like a crocodile one and a shark.

Does anyone have an up to date Turtle Doves code? I've finally been paid and went to order the beautiful gloves for MIL only to find the 30% off one (CHILLY-ROOMS) isn't working any more Sad

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 05/10/2020 09:26

Ordered my spicery kits to come for Friday as it was my DPs birthday yesterday. Wanted to give him the taco kit but they've still not appeared, I hope they turn up and aren't lost Sad

threesenoughthanks · 05/10/2020 09:32

@IceCreamAndCandyfloss Unless the leggings say curve (there's only a couple) then they are the smaller size (8-12 I think)

buckeejit · 05/10/2020 09:36

If anyone sees any nice sturdy notebooks - like th magnetic Mormons from last year, please shout 😁

Drowninginwashing · 05/10/2020 09:38

@roseshavethorns thanks! Ordered one as a stocking filler!

CharlieWeasley · 05/10/2020 10:09

I nipped to Costco yesterday and they have some lovely plush throws for just under £10 if anyone is doing a night in hamper or needs to bulk out presents. I'm expecting DC2 in Nov so got one for DD so she can make her tent all cosy if she needs to escape the crying!

shash1982 · 05/10/2020 10:13

Thank you so much reckless have just replied.😊
It never ceases to amaze me how lovely people are on these threads.
Its a it early but hey, it's the Christmas threads so just wanted to say that I hope you all have an amazing Christmas this year!

PinkDaydreams · 05/10/2020 10:20

I'm sure o read on here yesterday toblerones in Asda were £2. Just been in and they're £3.50 so must have been a smaller size

cardoon · 05/10/2020 10:22

Anyone got a LAKELAND code?
Now going down a rabbit hole of bargains....

Dolphintrainer · 05/10/2020 10:30

Someone on here a few threads back asked about Stranger Things merch. Tesco’s has some - see pic. Looks mostly limited to stationery.
