Thanks @TheGirlWhoLived for thread title

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

@EvilHerbivore

DS2 wants a bloody baby Oleg meerkat...am I going to have to insure a fictional pet to get one?!
I opened a credit card to get this. May not use the credit card but it was basically free.
JinglesWish · 26/09/2020 20:02

Bought the Celtic slippers and couple of jumpers for myself 😊

Some good deals at The Entertainer. If anyone’s little one likes Hatchimal eggs, there’s a great box of 12 for £10. Lovely stocking filler

Have a look on eBay for the meerkats!

sepsisandAKI · 26/09/2020 20:04

@Emma1962 I was on Brand Alley so got some sheepskin slippers that had been reduced from £50 to £29
with a £20 off code they were effectively less than a tenner Grin

peasando · 26/09/2020 20:16

My buns arrived. I definitely didn't need them and I 100% only bought them because of peer pressure and FOMO but actually they look great - I think I'll do them as an advent activity with DS.

Have just ordered £3 candles on the same FOMO basis. I'm not sure this thread is actually saving me money any more...

CoffeeAndEnnui · 26/09/2020 20:16

@woodwaj, I'm intrigued now, better go have a nose. He'll kill me for doing it but the idea of sending monstrous amounts has really tickled me!

Bluewavescrashing · 26/09/2020 20:17

Ooh what's the £20 off code for brand Alley please?

IceCreamAndCandyfloss · 26/09/2020 20:21

@PhantomErik

Big snuggly hoodie (fake Oodie) from Amazon £11.35!
Would you mind posting a link, I can’t find for that price and wanted a few of these.
Elpheba · 26/09/2020 20:22

I’ve ordered 6 candles (had to use DH’s account as only 4 per account) for teacher/nursery presents. I’m very pro part time but it does make it pricier- DD has 3 TAs and 2 teachers in her class!

Duckyneedsaclean · 26/09/2020 20:25

@IceCreamAndCandyfloss the cheap fake oodies are here

Poniesrock · 26/09/2020 20:26

Could someone possibly please post a link to the candles? I can’t seem to find it! Thank you

ClosedAuraOpenMind · 26/09/2020 20:26

JOINTHEFUN20 for £20 off at Brand Alley
not sure if there's minimum spend

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 26/09/2020 20:27

Ordered the candles and the Tokyo launder bundle. I got their deal last year and it's great stuff

PowerslidePanda · 26/09/2020 20:28

@HanPanPeg

Where’s the best place to get wrapping paper online? Struggled getting birthday paper in lockdown!

Also thanks to the pp who mentioned the hobbycraft felt tree. Arrived today and will be great come December!

I recently bought a load from Studio - price per metre is good and there's some plainer stuff in their Christmas range which will work as birthday paper instead (plain metallics, chevrons, etc). The only thing to be aware of is it's not quite as wide as standard rolls (I think it's something like 50cm, compared to 75cm)
I8toys · 26/09/2020 20:29

I think Amazon owe me a commission tonight. I'm working hard to shift their candles!!

Londonborncatty · 26/09/2020 20:31

I can’t find the blanket hoodies at £11.35 either. Anyone have the link pls?

CosmicVagina · 26/09/2020 20:32

Not a bargain but if you are looking for a small gift for a horsey person I just found these ear warmers which look amazing. Now I need somebody to buy them for me hahaha

Riding hat ear muffs

woodwaj · 26/09/2020 20:34

@CoffeeAndEnnui PLEASE send it 🤣

captainjacksparrow · 26/09/2020 20:37

I’ve bought the candles as well Blush no idea who for yet either Blush

WisestIsShe · 26/09/2020 20:37

Those looking for sheepskin slippers, last year I got a lovely boxed pair in Aldi for £15, it was closer to Christmas though. Wearing them now and they are so snuggly.

Mumto3thatsme · 26/09/2020 20:38

I’m waxing lyrical over the candies! Didn’t need them but I’m sure they’ll find a home 😂

captainjacksparrow · 26/09/2020 20:39

Very jealous of the velvet Santa sacks. I can’t get to a b and m.

Anyone have anything similar I can buy online that’s decent?
