@IfyoushouldmeetaCrocodile my son has the xbox that is currently out, he plays fortnite on it and he loves it and doesn't want to upgrade. Just to bear in mind if playing fortnite with friends and he wants to chat xbox users have to pay for xbox live every month. Sometimes they do black friday deals for the year for live. Personally don't think there is a need to get newer one if you can get a deal.
Also just to note the new xbox there are 2 types, the dearer one has a CD drive where u put the game discs, the cheaper ones do not have a CD drive so you download and pay for your games online and stores on your xbox. Just something to consider if he wants physical cd games.

Also smyths have 20% off some lego not Harry Potter unfortunately, the rats!

Re the fake oodies, has anyone tried any from amazon. I’m eyeing them up for my 10 year old. She’s quite tall but I worry they might swamp her.

@Emma10702 my 10 y/o is almost as tall as me so I've bought her the Sienna one from Amazon (I'm only 5ft 2" so it'll be quite long). I figure it'll be comfy for snuggling in.

I also got the email from Royal Mail saying my Lego order has been returned to JL. Just spent an hour on their online chat. Finally got through and I am told it was an admin error. Everything is as it should be for delivery. Will see.

Everyone was doing a similar priced deal coming up to Black Friday but I opened a credit account with Very to get an extra £50 off plus topcashback - then paid it all off within the month so as not to get stung by the credit.

DS1 is coming up 10 - we've only now started looking at the game pass.
