Thanks @TheGirlWhoLived for thread title

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.

How much were the candles that you've all bought please?

Puffalicious · 28/09/2020 17:28

Bicyclemadefortwo those are exactly what I'm after! You're a genius! Thank you soooooo much.

BicycleMadeForTwo · 28/09/2020 17:31

@Puffalicious Happy to help 🎅🏻

Lazysundayafternoons · 28/09/2020 17:38

@PinkDaydreams they were between 3 and 4 pounds when the offer was first shared here.

mrsdavegrohl · 28/09/2020 17:38

I think orignally the candles started at £3. I bought one for £4 odds and one for £5 odds. They arrived today and are fantastic for the price. So I ordered another one for £5 odds for a gift for MIL

Wheresmycider · 28/09/2020 17:39

Thank you to the poster that mentioned kids stuff for less. Stocking fillers a plenty and a few little bits for Halloween at home seeing as we wont be trick or treating this year.

Lazysundayafternoons · 28/09/2020 17:44

@mrsdavegrohl I did the same, bought and then went back and bought more.
Have just had 3 separate messages saying I have 3 Amazon deliveries tomorrow, the postman is going to think I'm crazy, esp when he has to come back later in the week with the other stuff I ordered too Blush

DumplingsAndStew · 28/09/2020 17:44

@Puffalicious

I was going to post those ones too, they look fab!

KillZill · 28/09/2020 17:44
@Puffalicious Amazon have some that might work? There’s a bit of a wait on delivery on these ones if you’re in no rush
I bought these last year. They aren't very big but did make wrapping soaps a lot easier!

Speaking of soaps, I've had an email from DrBotanicals. They have an 80% sale if you are subscribed with them. Not managed to find any super deals like last year but I'm going to have a better look after DC go to bed

JinglesWish · 28/09/2020 17:56

Thanks @Puffalicious Just placed my Smiggle order!

UselessInDisguise · 28/09/2020 18:09

This big sister, little sister doll set seems a steal for £5 at the entertainer. Blondes and brunette available

doll set

Lazysundayafternoons · 28/09/2020 18:11

Did Amazon do prime day last year? Wondering what to expect.

TheHalloweenFairy · 28/09/2020 18:16

Another one super happy with the candles, I’m very impressed with them! Bigger than I realised and quite fancy looking. I actually got 2 of each because I’m a candle nerd! Only one is for me though! The others are for teachers, childminder and for in mums hamper.

Lockdownhairdontcare · 28/09/2020 18:16

Penhalligons have a phenomenal sale just now. Saved over £100 on a bottle of perfume!!

Octoberfish · 28/09/2020 18:17

What's that Smell for £3. Not sure if it's rubbish but an excellent reduction at The Entertainer.

https://www.thetoyshop.com/games-jigsaws/grown-up-games/What%27s-That-Smell%3F-The-Party-Game/p/534846?UID=6141535787&utmcampaign=CMM20200928Wk366Games&utmmedium=email&MID=551463908&utmmsource=EntertainerMasterrGroup

Also could work as a DIY smell test for COVID.

TheHalloweenFairy · 28/09/2020 18:18

Should add I meant two of each of the bargain ones, not the £15 one!

LostMyRubySlippers · 28/09/2020 18:18

Another thanks for the Hermione doll Smile

Luxplus · 28/09/2020 18:23

Dd wishes books where you have to find things in the books. She borrowed one from the school library but it's in swedish and 10 years old Blush any idea if those books are still made and what they could be called?

DoctorYang · 28/09/2020 18:24

The only deals that seem worth it on Prime day are their own products, so kindles, echo dots, firesticks etc. Never had any decent bargains otherwise!

Dolphintrainer · 28/09/2020 18:26

@Luxplus They are generally called ‘Search and Find’ books and there’s loads of them for various different ages and interests. Lots on Amazon if you put in that search.

PattyPan · 28/09/2020 18:29

@Luxplus do you mean like where’s Wally? There are loads of those now

JinglesWish · 28/09/2020 18:32

@Lazysundayafternoons I got Hogwarts Express Lego for a bargain price around Prime Day last year. I think it’s worth adding the things you like to your basket under “save for later”, so you see any price changes clearly. Camel Camel notifications come through quite slowly ime

Duckyneedsaclean · 28/09/2020 18:35

Asda have 25% off wine when you buy 6 bottles, and two for £7 on round tubs of choc (celebrations, quality st etc). I've started my xmas food cupboard now!

TryingtobePrepared · 28/09/2020 18:38

@PinkDaydreams another vote for the slyvanians supermarket here its great, as is the tree house school. I'd go for those over the houses as starter bits
