If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

Who was the poster talking about ordering lovely ribbons and bits from ebay? I wondered what sort of search terms you use? :)

Based on the unexpected loveliness of the Wax Lyrical candle bargains I went looking for other cheap Wax Lyrical goodies and found this stunning candle calendar which I think is a smashing alternative to the Yankee Candle advent.

It's super pretty and is supposed to be £30 (on Wax Lyrical site) so jolly bargainous too. The next cheapest offer for it is £19.99 via the same seller's own site.

There's a nice review of it here (vid also shows the £3 bargain candle) if you want a preview, which is how I learned of its existence. Only a few left now so speedy fingers may be required...

@Lockdownhairdontcare I can't see any sale stuff in the Penhaligons website (probably being blind!) - my Mum loves some of their stuff so would love to treat her to something

@Ewock DS really liked the Throw n pop balls. We also have a Pokémon duvet cover and he spent hours playing with Pokémon Trainer Guess (in his room as it drove me crazy).

@applepinkierainbow you have to hunt but some real bargains to be had.

@luxplus depends how old DD is but this find the sloth book is down to £3.
For younger ones, we used to have a really big softback book of princesses I think but you had to find different things in each page eg 10 ladybird, 5 pink flowers etc.

Luxplus do you mean where it list things in the pictures and you've to find them?

Lucysmam - I like the wide wired ribbons so if you search”wired ribbons” lots come up.

luxPlus look on Amazon for Walter Wick in books, he does these amazing books using special photography with items hidden on the pages, various themes and ages - we used to have the treasure hunt one

@Luxplus Pierre the maze detective books are amazing search and find books, lots to find and beautifully illustrated.

Can anyone recommend men's sheepskin slippers, with a proper sole and back please? DF is always cold. I saw sheepers recommended here but they are soft soled.

YESSS I got the buns! Also ordered the felt Christmas tree which will hopefully keep DD amused this winter.

Went to B&M earlier today for the initial Christmas stockings but the only had one of the letters we needed, boo :( Did buy some very pretty light up stocking holders though to replace my Dibor ones that got returned.

Got the buns! FOMO is strong with me!
