Thanks @allatonce99 for thread title

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.

They might honour the orders. But googling doesn't bring up that page, nor searching on their website, so I'm not sure it's a live offer? The summer gin set like that was £35. You'll have to keep fingers crossed Grin

hoopdeloop · 24/09/2020 17:16

@icedaisy I never thought of the Scotland thing either, I’m in Scotland too. Maybe they can get around it because it’s a hamper gift rather than like a 3 for £10 on wine for example 🙈

PattyPan · 24/09/2020 17:19

Not bargainous but I’ve just seen some lovely Christmas planners on the RNLI website if anyone is after one planner

It was just on the actual Gin itself it didn't look like a special offer, it was a bit random to me too but hopefully they honour it Smile

If you search hampers on the m and s site the gin hampers are the last two items (unfortunately still oos but still showing as £18).

AintOverUntilTheCatLadySings · 24/09/2020 17:25

@aimslou

Can anybody give me suggestions of where I can get the old fashioned large pear drops from? Also if anybody knows if smyths are doing any offers? Thanks
Iceland does the pear drops and loads of other old fashioned sweets
unkindnessofravens · 24/09/2020 17:27

Very have said they will have stocks of PS5's for pre-order tomorrow for those in the market for one

WatchoutfortheROUS · 24/09/2020 17:36

You'll be anxiously awaiting the gin hampers, actually, after last year maybe calls them something else Grin

RJnomore1 · 24/09/2020 17:40

Scotland minimum pricing is 50p/unit isn’t it?

70cl at 20% = 14 units (70x20/100)

So minimum price £7.

Prosecco is about 8/9 units so say £4.50 theres fore it’s well within legal pricing.

WatchoutfortheROUS · 24/09/2020 17:42

This isn't really the right thread, but whilst browsing I see M&S do a luxury hamper for £999 Shock

For a thousand pounds I'd want golden percy pigs!!

JinglesWish · 24/09/2020 17:47

Here’s the picture of the £18 gin hamper!! I’ve emailed them to complain that I paid £18 just for the gin. I’ve asked if they’ll honour the offer

Golden Percy pigs, you say? Now that would have my attention!
AHintOfStyle · 24/09/2020 17:48

@Ibelieveinyou

Someone posted this last year and it seems that they have a similar deal this year jewel unique SILVER75 takes 80% off and you get free infinity stud earrings.
Thanks for this!!
Wtfdidwedo · 24/09/2020 17:49
@wtfdidwedo I got my daughter some press button lights from primark. They were £2.50 for 2, are battery operated and v bright! Also got fairy lights from there for £3ish. Little heart ones with red bulbs. Hers are also under a mid sleeper, gives lots of light to play!
Excellent thanks! We did have fairy lights from there once upon a time, I'd forgotten about those.

UselessInDisguise · 24/09/2020 17:55

@JinglesWish who did you email? I can't find any contact address

Carrie76 · 24/09/2020 17:58

@WisestIsShe somewhere like currys is probably your best bet

JinglesWish · 24/09/2020 18:01

@UselessInDisguise via their Facebook page

JinglesWish · 24/09/2020 18:02

I think they’ll say it was an online special, but worth a try

Sunshineskies · 24/09/2020 18:09

Thank you for the strip light info @Wtfdidwedo

WisestIsShe · 24/09/2020 18:11

Thanks @SalmonEile and @Carrie76 I'll have a look tonight.

thelegohooverer · 24/09/2020 18:13

@WisestIsShe www.compub.com/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIjtKc16OC7AIVT83tCh17qwSQEAAYASAAEgK_8vD_BwE is an apple reseller with a store in Dundrum Town Centre. Might be an easy one for her to get to if there’s any issues with it. They’re really friendly to dinosaurs like myself.

Harvey Norman is another one to try. They have stores in Rathfarnham, Tallaght, Carrickmines, Swords, Blanchardstown, so again handy enough to get to if there’s issues.

Obviously she/you could probably sort any problems online too.

TheGirlWhoLived · 24/09/2020 18:15

Thanks for the rug tips, sass and belle looks lush but not bargainous, caved and spent £25 on a cute flower rug Grin

Thanks for that one from wayfair, loved the glow in the dark but have come unstuck with wayfair before! Eagerly awaiting spare Matalan codes- could do with money off if you spend £50 or £75 if anyone has any they won’t use

Chocolatecake12 · 24/09/2020 18:24

I got my gin Smile
There was plenty in my local m&s of both varieties.

NoWordForFluffy · 24/09/2020 18:44

I asked M&S on Messenger whether the difference in the two gin descriptions was a typo, and they've confirmed it was. So they're both the same, other than the flavour of nuts, I think?

steph2412 · 24/09/2020 19:09

I ordered the gin online but does it look like it was an error? I haven't received any further correspondence from m and s yet!!
