Thanks @allatonce99 for thread title

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Here’s Barbarara’s instructions from last year on doing clicky links:

Open double square brackets

Name of link

Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

I'm looking for one of those pore sucker things, if anyone has any recommendations or sees a bargain? Not very Christmassy Grin

lastkisstoo · 23/09/2020 19:07

@BumpkinSpiceBatty Haven't read the full thread yet so forgive me if this has already been said but M&S have some good Halloween themed sweets and chocolate on the shelves at the moment. Also Halloween Percy Pigs if that's your thing Smile

Justonedayatatime11 · 23/09/2020 19:15

Was someone looking for a switch lite?

Puffalicious · 23/09/2020 19:16

Thanks for all Switch info, I'm off to look.

catlady I bought a pore sucker off of FB £20 but £5 cash return if you do a survey. Not arrived yet but will update when it arrives.

Oodie has great savings for multi buys. Does anyone have one? Are they far superior to the other ones available ? £18 on Wowcher right now but if I order 6 Oodies (split with friends) they work out at £36 each ( £79 usually).

Puffalicious · 23/09/2020 19:17

just I was swithering whether to go Lite or normal switch.

CactusForever · 23/09/2020 19:20

Oh thanks @margaritasbythesea that was just the site I was remembering. Thought I had it bookmarked. Looks great.

beccarooney · 23/09/2020 19:24

Thanks for the new thread. Has anyone seen an offer for a subscription to Country Living please? I thought I saw one a week or so ago for £1 a copy but now can't find it anywhere... Also I seem to remember there was a really bargainous Naked Marshmallow Co offer last year - anyone seen anything similar/can remember when that was please? Thanks :)

XiCi · 23/09/2020 19:27

Ok, now I've spent a small fortune on cheese. Wiped out all the savings I've made from bargains so far Grin

Spam88 · 23/09/2020 19:37

Curious as to whether everyone who tried Northumberland Cheese Co found them via their Facebook ads? I was ready to give them all my money but DH intervened...

Redwinestillfine · 23/09/2020 19:39

For cheese try the courtyard dairy so delish.....

torthecatlady · 23/09/2020 19:46

Thanks @Puffalicious Looking forward to hearing all about it Grin

user1019273703 · 23/09/2020 19:57

Does anybody know how long the argos lego offer is on for?

Yeknom · 23/09/2020 20:01

Nope @Spam88 , mine was a recommendation from a family member who lives nearby!

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 23/09/2020 20:04

Magazinesdirect has 6 issues for £6 at the moment. Or my area one is £12 for 6.
PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 23/09/2020 20:05

Oh wait, that's Country Life, not Country Loving, sorry!

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 23/09/2020 20:08

*Living

thiap · 23/09/2020 20:09
@thiap if you don't mind if you happen to look in Ralph Lauren kids (upstairs in the main Ralph Lauren) whether they have any of the baby clothes marked down! Last year I managed to pick up some baby grows and tops for £6.99!! This year I've been twice (before and after lockdown) & both times they've been £20 odd (exact same ones as well). There was also a little dress I got last year for £12.99 and the same one is now over £30 I couldn't believe it.
I'm sorry- definitely no bargains in Ralph Lauren today Confused eye wateringly expensive!

MsMiaWallace · 23/09/2020 20:09

Does anyone know of where I can get a decent cheap hamper from?
Anyone tried Aldi hampers?

1stTimeMama · 23/09/2020 20:11

@Puffalicious I have an actual Oodie, and it's fantastic. I can't wait for it to get colder, so I can wear it even more!

Tiredmummyof3 · 23/09/2020 20:16

Heads up for anyone looking on the urban outfitters sale....it's 4% cashback on Quidco too!

Puffalicious · 23/09/2020 20:33

Oooh 1sttimemama now you're tempting me. Worth the money then?

CompleteBarstool · 23/09/2020 20:35

Has anyone seen any bargainous shampoo bars, preferably in tins? I'm looking for one for DD's stocking as she likes zero waste products

I've seen a few pop up on Facebook ads but by the time you add postage they become quite pricey.

Last Xmas I bought her a great Holland & Barrett zero gift set with all sorts of ethical/zero waste products in that I saw on these threads and it was a big hit . Has anyone seen anything similar this year?

Notlongnow1 · 23/09/2020 20:36

@Puffalicious

I'm also looking for a decent Switch deal and Samsung wireless buds if anyone comes across any good bargains.

By the by, anyone who's in the know, should I get the Switch or Switch lite for DS 8, almost 9?

I would go for the switch if you can afford to as means you are able to play together, on the TV etc
Allmyarseandpeggymartin · 23/09/2020 20:36

20% off at Dorothy Perkins YAY20

ShandlersWig · 23/09/2020 20:38

Since they came out its been hard to find offers on a Switch. So far on these threads over the last few years is to open a credit account with Very and utalise their new customer discount or find a bundle with a game you'd buy anyway. Neither are particularly bargainous but at least you know if you buy before BF you wont get seen off.
