Thanks @moonbabyandthebeast for thread title

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Here’s Barbarara’s instructions from last year on doing clicky links:

Open double square brackets

Paste link
Space
Name of link

Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

The cinnamon bun kit is currently 5.99 at Costco and is a box containing 4 sets of ingredients. I picked up a box this weekend to use over Christmas and New year.

On the subject of books I've been using School Depot - cheaper than Amazon/Waterstones etc on a lot of titles. Discovered by accident that you don't have to have an account or be a teacher/school to use it.

@Reastie ohdeer have some quirky stationary for a few pounds. I usually buy 3 pieces from there and team it up with Sainsbury’s sale stuff. Matalan did great ‘this girl can’ etc pencils last year too.

Lockdownhairdontcare · 22/09/2020 09:27

Sorry should have said @Reastie they do 3 for £10 too.

Thank you for the stationary recommendations, will have a look later. Major budget this Christmas to work to.

Just got my Lottie Ballerina - is it supposed to look like this on the headpiece? This is my first Lottie purchase and I'm kind of disappointed in the quality 😕

Has anyone who's been in M&S for the gin noticed if their Xmas choc coins, choc Brussel sprouts & the small choc bits for advent calendars are in yet?

@superstar84 My M&S had a few Christmassy bits but I didn’t notice Brussel sprouts and coins. More mince pies/tins of biscuits/chocs etc

Has anyone got this game? www.thetoyshop.com/games-jigsaws/childrens-games/Elf-Decorate-The-Tree-Game/p/546615

I'm wondering if it'll be any good for an 8 year old or whether it'll be too young?
